Secret Santa delivers Christmas tree & special gifts to speechless 84-year-old woman who lives alone

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until Christmas, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Phyllis is 84 years old and goes to the gym every day. She lives in a low-income senior citizen apartment complex and recently needed her truck serviced. It really did a number on her finances.
Phyllis is the most positive person who brings people in the building joy and keeps them laughing. She has no children and never married. She is a minimalist and if you ask anyone in the building if they know Phyllis, they will just smile and say, "I can't believe that she is 84 and still goes to the gym."
She tries to help people out even when she doesn't have anything and loves the Christmas season.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Phyllis a visit and bring her some holiday cheer. Check out the surprise in the video player above!

Cherish your elders, I’m in tears right now. My grandfather just passed away two weeks ago and every day I am reminded of how humble and special this generation is. Cherish them, because further generations have a lot to live up to compared to lovely ladies and others like this.

This is my second time watching this video, I watched it when it first came out but I just love her and wanted to see her again. She seems like such a sweet woman and we definitely can learn from her. Clearly because she's 84 looking 55 lol. I hope she gets many more years filled with love and appreciation for her.

As someone who doesnt have any grandparents left alive please cherish your elders before its too late. They have so much wisdom and love to give back
So very true! Due to family drama, I barely knew my paternal grandparents even though we only lived a few miles apart. My maternal grandmother died when I was six and my grandfather moved 1,200 miles away to live in FL. I never had the chance to have a close relationship with them and I wish things could have been different.

My mother never got along with her in-laws and I always felt uncomfortable around my paternal grandparents. As a young child, I didn’t understand why I felt so uneasy around them. It was probably my mother’s refusal to visit them. I did visit them occasionally with my father and siblings, but I never felt like I had a deep relationship with them.
I moved away at 20 for college. My grandparents had all passed away a couple of years later. That was my loss…
I wait all year for this....She was so touched and grateful when she thought it was $5
I can see Phyllis buying a little something for her neighbors with her gift cards. When you have a loving heart for others, even a gallon of milk means so much to someone. We can all bless someone with $5.00 worth of food or taking someone in your car to an appointment or store. Everyone choosing to do one thing for someone else spreads Christmas cheer all year long.

My mom lived in an assisted living home. It’s a very close community. They take care of each other. The complex does special events and cookouts for the residents.
