This exclusive Float - Fish - Camp trip covers 13 miles of private-access-only river located in a valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains area of Southwest Virginia. Loaded with wild smallmouth bass (the Fightingest Freshwater Fish on a Fly), you’ll spend day one floating backcountry stretches of scenic river where few anglers ever tread. During the warm months, these fish are eager and ready to take a topwater fly, and trophy-size fish are common.
We will land at camp the first evening, where you will be greeted by your camp guide who will have tents and a fire prepared. You’ll be treated to a delicious meal cooked over the campfire, and then spend the evening playing cards, reading, relaxing, or wade fishing the river beside camp.
Day two will begin with hot coffee and breakfast, and then we’ll float our way out of camp, around a bend in the river, and fish our way to the takeout where the shuttle vehicle will be waiting.
This is an all-inclusive trip that includes all fly fishing gear, camp gear, meals, fishing guides and a camp guide.
