Cesar...the calm, assertive, comforting hugs you gave to all these people, transferred right through my monitor. Well done, Sir. Lord Bless you and yours.
Man Cesar Awareness and understanding of dog psychology helped him anticipate the attack before it even happened. mad respect for you Cesar! 💯❤
Excellent prompt assesment. Work hard and consistency with Cesar's expertise will lead to success. Don't give up.
Pulling straight up on the leash is key
100%
👍👍👍👍👍
Thx for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us.
I'm a dog trainer. I worked with a 150 lb Black Russian Terrier earlier today. He's dog-aggressive about 50% of the time due to his owner and himself having troubles during puppyhood. Chaos is his name. His owner does not know proper leash techniques (as seen in the video above) to prevent a fight from even taking place. His owner is nervous as hell in meeting and greeting dogs with him but I am not so when we are out, I try to make him meet every single dog we pass by on leash and it's a prong collar. I yank that straight up into the air every time he may challenge or get all stiff. His insecurities have developed into fear-aggression after 5.5 years. Now, he's doing great after our 9th practice session at the park, with me. Yanking the loop, choker, or prong straight up IS he key to preventing the dogs from attacking in the moment. Why? Because the dogs generally go limp when you pick them up from the back of the neck, just as their dog mother or father would pick them up. They have a natural ability to just relax more when they're picked up like that. It's as if you're a giant, and you're walking into an ant fight, so you pick up the aggressive ant until he's calm. You also want to control the head of the aggressive dog, just like a horse. You can't let them drop their head down to attack so you're practicing prevention, not intervention. Sometimes, the other dog will fight back so you pick them both up like Cesar did here, if they're not too big and it's something you can handle, like two tiny dogs. I've had the exact same thing happen many times and you have to use your feet to block the dog or grab it by the back of the neck as well, with a leash on, preferably. Leashes make it much easier. If you're picking up a dog with no leash, try to use BOTH hands as they really can't turn around to snap at you if you have all their neck scruff in your grip. The only one time I broke up a dog fight with one hand, I got squeezed a little as I pinned him. We were buds tho, he didn't know it was me in the heat of the moment but all was well, even tho I was bleeding a bit. I love Cesar because he explains all of this in his books, which are probably the best form of dog training you could ever get. Another time, a Doberman Pinscher attacked a tiny puppy right in front of me at a park, so I grabbed the Doby's leash straight up into the air and pinned him in front of about 30 people until he calmed down. It was like God put the situation right in front of me, on purpose. Most of the time, no one has a clue of how to properly break up a fight. If they're locked, dump water on both of em, stick a finger into where the sun don't shine, etc. I've dealt with dogs locked up during a fight as well, so that's another cup of tea. Another cup of cocoa is when you have to break up a dog fight when there are other packs of dogs around, and now shit's really hitting the fan because as you break up the fight, you're getting bitten in the ass by whomever cuz you can't see behind you so always put your back to a wall, a tree, or whatever if you're dealing with packs of dogs. Dogs are still wolves here in 2024 but most people think differently and don't truly respect the wolf inside of the dog, especially when the Dog Gone Wild.
Choke chains are cruel and can crush a larynx. I hope you learn how to help this dog without angering it more!
It doesn't help when there are so many princesses and cupcakes out there that think discipline is abuse when it comes to correction and training, socialisation with the dogs. It's exactly these fruit cakes and fools getting dogs that's causing all these problems. All the problem dogs have idiot owners. They spoil their dogs and have a fragile mind as well as a weaker heart. They don't know sh*t about handling a dog or dogs. These people make me sick when they get all in your face or sh*t all over the web about dog handlers and experts and their "rougher", "harder" way of handling dogs. These people shouldn't get dogs. If they want to get dogs, first, they need to get a brain, grow some balls and also a real heart that genuinely cares for the dog and their welfare and not just because they are cute.
@@sophieandwayne OH yeah, he's so pissed now. LMAO. C'mon. Get with the program. They are all training tools that should be used properly by professionals. Your average person doesn't have a clue about how to train, whatsoever. His "new behavior" is whining when he sees me from the car cuz now he's excited about the walk instead of fearful and aggressive. Every dog needs a leader who is not afraid to discipline them. Discipline is the other half of the equation. When done properly, the dog always turns out great. They're all trainable while people are not.
@@asanseil5553 I was never trained how to train dogs; just had them all my life. When I got a pit bull in the city, I decided I was going to train him very well so as to avoid the stigma associated with pits. Turns out, that was probably a very wise decision since he ended up being a 100 lbs. I trained him with voice commands and hand gestures. It took a lot of time and effort, but gave us the closest relationship! He did get into a few scraps w/our older dog, tho, a border collie, who liked to be bossy. One day, the pit had had enough and the fight was on. I had no leashes on them and the border collie bit me pretty good when I broke it up. No health care and no $ for doctors (and I was afraid to go see a doc because I was afraid they might take my dog away), so I used a bottle of antibiotics from a dentist appointment that was never ingested and all was fine; just a scar on my arm. After that, the dogs had a few spats, but they knew they had to live together, and the border collie knew he couldn't push things so far w/being bossy anymore. They've both since passed, but they were the best dogs we ever had. Maybe someday, I'll get another dog and train like I did before. For now, we just have a small pit that kisses everyone to death -- lol.
Thank u, thank u thank u! ❤
Es muy importante saber cómo enfrentar una pelea de perros y conservar la calma es lo más importante y aquí lo vemos claramente 👍
Cesar ur awesome hope all ur pack are good & family love watching programmes on u cesar ❤❤❤
🐺I Like Your Energy & Wisdom 🧜♀️💜🪽 Thank You :)
The dog's owner (the girl with the braid) with her tension and anxiety vibe definitely added to this situation.
I don't think i would've said to her "shes not okay" and then "just fo relax"...she was FINE could've been way worse! How can she relax after hearing that 😅
I'd wager it was just edited like that to be more dramatic.
Você é ótimo!
Cesar es un excelente profesional, menos mal que estaba allí.
Hay que educarlos desde bebés y jamás dejar que sean ellos los jefes de la manada.
Gracias por el vídeo
Ciao cesar ,🤗tanti cani avrebbero bisogno di te ,anzi prima i padroni andrebbero addestrati come crescere un cane.sei fenomenale 👍🤗
As a dog lover, I always like to watch Cesar’s training sessions. Help me to understand dogs and better relationships. Thanks Cesar!
Cesar - THE best - thank you!!
Wow, I wouldn’t know how to find the strength doing this (I’m a 75 year old woman with a very nice dog)
carry pepper spray
@@dbabini1 that's terrible . And good luck not getting charged for pepper spraying a strangers dog. If you can't physically breakup a dog fight, then you need to get a smaller dog. If you can't master dog psychology, then you shouldn't get a large or "aggressive" breed. You probably shouldn't even get a dog actually, stick to cats.
@@youngmoney4313 so a 75 year old woman is walking down the street with her very nice dog when someone else's very aggressive dog that is off leash attacks her dog... Pray tell me, genius, what is she supposed to do, use dog psychology? Sounds like you're the one who shouldn't own even a goldfish.
@@dbabini1 In that one in a million scenario which she will probably never encounter, sure go for it. But in the more likely scenario of an on leash dog, No....
As the supposed leader of the pack, you are suppose to look-out for oncoming threats. If you understood dog and human behavior and psychology, you could immediately analyze an unstable dog or an inexperienced dog walker/owner for a mile away. If you can't cross the road, move aside safely or VOICE to the unstable dog walker, then maybe getting a dog that's scoopable is more suitable for you. And that's just one of a dozen scenarios I can think of.
But hey, if you want to get charged with an ER vet bill for pepper spraying a dog, be my guest!
@@youngmoney4313 the video clearly shows a dog that was not being controlled attacking the dog that was on leash being controlled. Cesar was lifting both dogs by their leash separating them until help arrived. Her comment was that she wouldn't have the strength to do that in which case pepper spray is totally acceptable. I'm not advocating she go around spraying every dog in town. Pepper spray does not hurt the dog it just stops them. Stop acting like a clown man.
All the other dogs are barking "Go on get him" lol good video, I never knew that pulling vertically on the leash is the way to go, thank you
Sir big fan please put full video we learn from you love from India
Hi Cesar just watching your TH-cam video mate. You handle that really well that’s why you are a good dog trainer and a person that understands dogs. I like to keep my English Staffordshire terrier always training. I enjoy watching your videos on TH-cam. It even teaches me something keep them coming and hope you and the family and everyone are going well, from 🇦🇺👍🏻
😊😊 marvelous as always Cesar Milan😊😊😊
❤❤❤
Cesar, you look very good in green!
That dog fight stop was insane.
ehh. I love cesar don't get me wrong, i take all of my lessons and teaching from cesar if i'm gonna be honest. But i can't lie here, this was really unprofessional. he should of been between the two dogs, he should of had one of his crew members on standby just in case, he could of utilized a muzzle which he eventually did (after the fight). You don't need to give dogs all of their weapons one the first couple meetings/rehabilitation. I personally would of been not mad, but irritated and disappointed that Cesar even let this particular fight happen. It could of been adjusted and prevented.
See how see the fight coming and handled them perfectly, All coz of some nervous energy of owner , Hopefully all went well ❤❤❤❤
@youngmoney4313 I was thinking why he wanted to put those dogs in this situation. My guess is he is trying to teach people what to do if your dog gets into a real fight, not how to prevent a fight.
@@carolshang well I think he didn't want a fight to happen at all if possible. But he's always aware of this possibility. I think this was just a mistake which everyone does, but sadly the dogs paid for it. Lucky it wasn't bad.
@youngmoney4313 it seems to me he thought if the fight begins he could stop it before anybody get hurt, but somehow the pitbull came too early and too fast that he was not fully prepared... trainig big dogs are hard.. .It's good to know that even the GOAT makes mistakes.
Long live cesar!! Please hire me!
I love dogs so much watching Caesar I realize I don’t know anything and I don’t know where to start
You are an angel Ceasar
Thank god You were there ! all she was doing was covering my ears . If she was alone then what
Gracias por ayudar PERO SI EL ANIMAL ESTÁ EN JAULA EN LUGAR DE SER LIBRE POR SUPUESTO QUE HAY AGRESIVIDAD EN SU CORAZÓN.

Thank you for showing this. I am struggling in my local area. My small terrier keeps being attacked by random dogs off lead and even breaking through fences.. She is quiet and very friendly and it breaks my heart to see her losing confidence... and I worry that as I get older I won't be able to keep her safe. So far we have had seven attacks in seven years with some requiring vet treatment. I haul these dogs off while the owners stand by...I now carry citronella spray (I live in Australia) but don't know what else I can do. I have had dogs my entire life and have never had this issue before. Please Cesar if you have any tips I would be very grateful.
They’re lucky more dogs didn’t get in the mix… it’s like cats being drawn to catnip. It’s also a good thing nobody screamed in a high pitched voice… that also makes a dog fight so much worse. So happy the dogs weren’t badly hurt. That was like a day at the dog park for my dog but he was on the other end always being attacked or breaking up dog fights. He would have run right in between the two dogs to stop them from fighting each other. Bully breeds are amazing!🐾♥️🐾
Como ele tem é tranquilo em separar uma briga 🫀
0:51 - why would you say that???
Exactly!😂
Jeez he's so good. saw it coming before it even happened and tried to prevent it. People are so lucky to get to work with him
I work with dogs as well, it's not extremely difficult to tell when a dog fight is about to happen if you know dog body language.
OMG 🙏🙏🙏
Ooooooh nooooo OMG 🙏🙏🙏 Thank You for handling sooo good there was no reason for this Pitty acting so agressiv Greetings from Germany
That's why I have had an American Staffordshire Terrier ❤
Неприятные моменты в нашей жизни неизбежны, но все проходит, главное делать правильные выводы и не поддаваться панике и страху.
👍👍
Dealing with trying to get a rescue boxer mix alpha female with my 10yr old sweet yellow lab and getting two females together has been tough. Rescue I think has had some questionable background and is reactive towards other dogs. Didn't know that it wss bad to seperate them though aftrr a fight.
I know this is harsh, but some people should not own dogs like that. They don’t have the right temperament for them. They need a leader. They need to be told what to do. I’m talking about the dogs just in case you didn’t know that lol. I hope this young girl can get rid of that fear otherwise it’s going to happen again and it probably will be worse. I don’t know what’s gonna happen because I haven’t seen the end yet.
¿Y luego qué paso?
This makes me so angry. Standing with your hands over your ears is hardly being a responsible owner. With all my heart I wish people who have no idea about training dogs would just stop having them!! 🤬.
Changing the dogs direction is also key… rather than taking a chance at breaking its trachea, which can happen pulling up like that. Not socializing a dog when they’re very young is not good and showing the dog that you’re nervous and fearful is not a great alpha in the family. Dogs will feed off of the owners energy. Sounds like he didn’t get the right kind of dog for himself!?!
😮❤👏👏👏👏👏👏
CAESAR MILAN TAUGHT ME HOW TO BE A PACK LEADER BY BEING CONSISTENT CLEAR AND HAVE BOUNDARIES RULES AND LIMITATIONS AND IT NOT ONLY HELPED ME WITH MY 120 LB HUGE DOG BUT IT HELPED ME RAISE A HOUSEFUL OF CHILDREN TEENS BABIES AND IN MY OWN RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAD ABUSED ME FOR SO LONG.
How about the husband telling his wife "dogs not okay.. go sit down , relax" as she freaks out.. way to stir up the drama and freak your wife out.. winning major points there dude! 😂
He did the right thing. All you snowflake generation always trying to be political correct about any situation. So you think he wasn't freaking out as well because he wanted to be the man? Pls do what works for you and stop spoiling people's marriages.
Freal. He disent know how to communicate to women lol.
Is this Cesar's youtube channel? Or is this the network he used to work for? Does anyone know?
He was on National Geographic for some time.
Dont bother, he is the worst for any dog ..
pelean que parecen perros !!!
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I need 911 help my dog is very aggressive and he has bit me twice I rly need ur help 0:04
I’m confused. Why do you need the two dogs to get along?
I guess the two owners are family.
guessing they need to keep their agression in check
Why? It's no fun having an aggressive dog. Once the dog learns, you can take him anywhere, HAVE FUN, and not have to worry about him doing something stupid.
Cesar is a spiritual being, there is Love in every interaction he has with dogs or humans.

When you got a 5 or 8 pound doggie that won't work. Especially if the other mutt clamps down on your dog and you're on the ground trying to prevent your little thing from meeting it's demise.
Stop treating dogs as human beings but as dogs! They are dogs.
That is scary l don’t pits
Who tf let go of the Pit?
Que ridículos , los animales sanan muy rápido, hacen todo un drama , los animales son animales , porque tanto escándalo
Why the quality on that is so bad?
This clip is probably a decade old. I’ve seen it many times.
I've seen worse fights at the dog park and it's the human's fault 99% of the time because they are not catching cues from their dog. I've even seen people hugging their dog after it just started a fight. Stupid because now that dog thinks that is what it's supposed to do
that chic didnt do SHIT!! dont get the dog if you cant control it baby girl...
Not the chick covering her ears😂😂😂 just get a hamster next time….
What dumazz let the other dog go?
We love Todd. But that's not it.
Most people shouldn’t own a dog
Most people shouldn't be allowed to vote, what's your point?
Walking up to the owner and saying "your dog is not okay" was just terrible when both were clearly fine . Poor woman thinks her dogs dying
"Your dog's gonna be fine, he was bit and is bleeding but it's not bad." Would saying that have been so hard??
Hilarious
Yeah, that was rude
Yes, I also found that to be incredibly unnecessary.
The producers probably told him to say it for more drama... Or he's just an idiot lol
💕🌹 CESAR❤❤🤗
Why doesn’t he show the resolution to these problems in his videos? This has to be the most annoying channel I’ve ever subscribed to 😂
I do not like this video what the dogs are fighting disease I don't like to see dog fights oh my God that is really bad poor dog that breaks my heart to see that why'd you that's not right you just separate those two why do you let them fight 😭🧺😭😭😭😭😭😭
So why was there a 2-dog-fight if a pro dog behaviorist was on the scene?
Just wondering why the owner is just...standing there??
Unmm. They don't want to get bite. 😅
@@chuckh4077 bruh. That's their dog tho
That's what I thought? Seriously, she caught her ear and stood there. If you are that weak, it is not necessarily to have a big dog
I still have ptsd from my dogs fighting. It is very scary. I ended up getting rid of the dog that wasnt the instigator. I still get flashbacks, ive even blacked out once bc my body predicts what will happen.
Ive gotten better over the years but i dont think itll ever go away
Some dogs are just idiots.
See here the difference between men and women demonstrated in 5 seconds.
It’s the difference between one type of personality and another. I’ve seen very timid men and very assertive women. I personally have no problem being assertive and would not stand there covering my ears nor would most females or males.
@@Marta-LostCoast A lifetime of being around women with dogs has shown me the opposite of your experience. Women crumble under this type of stress. Exceptions notwithstanding.
@@dany1441One woman you see in a video doesn’t represent the entire human female population. Especially when raised in Africa and being around wild dogs has made me nothing but assertive and even violent at times.
@@Professoryu Good for you! Glad to see the exception!
