GG to the champ Nerexa (Shoutout to his youtube www.youtube.com/@NerexaGames, he casts tournaments and replays) The fog of the damned leadership bombing was great and his nets were super solid. I was definitely building sweaty Kh and he knew how to counter it. Mourngul hero has a LD reducing item vs flying and it prevented them from making huge impact. Worth bringing into chaos factions for that shutdown alone. Entire series was real fun. I was coast the next game with a completely different build type.
I really hope we get a VC and Norsca rework together. Boost two basically none existant factions and give them more dynamics between each other for campaigns. I also would love an end game crisis based on control of the seas where both factions go nuclear. Relentlessly destroying all coastal settlements and each other
They need more sea interactions to make it worth other factions going to sea more like make sea routes with certain benefits to hold and then let vampire coast have special interactions with those sea routes.
Are people starting to see the power of the Coast?! Fog of the Damned and Mournghul Haunter is a fantastic combo. Sucks that Khorne shuts down all gunplay short of maybe a Necrofex Colossus. So happy to see Coast played well.
If Vampire Coast gets Depth guard with great weapons someday then they would be almost a totally changed race. That would probably bump them up two tiers
What Bob needed to bring was more anti-large, because I noticed throughout the whole game that the morngals, especially the morngal haunter was feasting on all of the marauders and chaos warriors, I think if he brought more chaos warrior halberds and Minotaurs with great weapons it would’ve certainly help Keep them honest. The morngal haunter especially was decisive for nerexa, as it was Beating up valkia whenever she landed to fight it or other units,(the hunger really helped in this regard) and really made her ability to support her army effectively null. It also heavily beat up the cultist heroes as well, sharing their Lord’s ineffectiveness in the overall battle. In conclusion, Bob’s build was very weak to monsters, especially anti-infantry monsters and had a hero that could effectively beat his opponent’s monster Hunter with relative ease.
Bringing a pure heals caster stripped down wouldn't be too expensive I think, but perhaps it is enough to have to cut monster units and Depth Guard by a unit or two. Honestly not sure why people don't do it more. The benefits can be huge. Perhaps it is also a micro issue? Trying to control three characters(if you bring a lord without casting like Arranessa) and two of whom are casters may be a stretch on abilities? I dunno, I'm not a multiplayer guy.
Love seeing how diverse coast builds have been as of late, and always cool to see underutilized spells!

Nice try here Bob, try for those halberd warriors+marauders and focus those slaupnirs on missile units next time!
It might be a bit much for Turin to nickname Mourngul Haunters as Lieutenant Dan, but I'm just putting it out there.
But you ain’t got no legs Lieutenant Dan
I am surprised he hasn't already.
I do like the inflatable arm guy though
Nerexa might be the #1 net enjoyer in all of total war
insane slow debuff by mourngul hero is kinda slept on in most situations it can be very deadly and 30% aoe and another 30% on its attacks
Plus the anti-flying unit banner that the haunter gets really wrecked valkia
Dude that mournghoul jumping up makes me wish for it to actually be able to do tha t for flying entities
Sartosa should be able to recruit sartosa free company in quick battles

That would be really cool. It'd be great to see world walkers lean more into their sea raider vibes.

I love that the amount of Vampire Coast features increased the last couple of weeks - such a cool faction.
Mourngul Haunter suplexing everything sent to fight him is so funny

The talk about Trim was relatable as hell, i love chaos but the trim hurts too much. Great coverage of a great match as ever
I want to see Grubby and other RTS players to try with you few games of TW, that would be fun, maybe with some couching, like newbiee tournament
Slaanesh bots on the prowl
I think the Korne player assumed there would be a lot more of a gunline.
4:14 I knew about your DG, but didn't know that you had CSM too. What legion did you paint them as?
Bl!
@@turinRTS Cool! I got Word Bearers myself.
Would be interested to see what effect the new goblin (spears) and orc boys (spears) has had in multiplayer
What a close game!! Such a great one!
Fog of the damned is badass. Did it get a WoM cost reduction or something? Seemed like he got it a bunch.
Will the new greenskins be in multi? Be cool to see their impact. Love the vids as always
Is it just too difficult to bring to casters for vampire coast? It's so hard to choose between lore of vampires vs depths
