Sight amendment because I KNOW somebody will say something if I don't. Bridlington Town AFC are currently in the Northern Premier League Division One East - I misread their league as the Northern Counties East Premier during research. They sound similar but there's a difference. The NPL D1 East is the 8th tier of English Football. The NCEL Premier is the 9th.
Congrats on another great video. I used to live in Brid and will be buying a house there soon as I'm retired. Also thanks for including Sewerby hall gardens and Zoo. Lots of videos on Brid but your the only one to include it. We'll done.
Lovely episode. Been many times but still learnt loads. Thank your guest narrator who didnt stick to his promise of not swearing. Lol. He was lovely. Thanks Andy for all your hard work. X
Hi Andy 👋 Have you visited Nunnington, (East?) Ness yet? I'm watching from Canada and Nunnington is where my Granny's last family home is. Her father was a groom for some sort of horse breeding farm there. Their horses were very desirable (as police horses?) And shipped throughout England. This was all around late 1800s into early 1900s. The house they lived in was called 'Jubilee Cottage.' Sadly, I haven't been able to find the house on Google Earth, so it must have been on the estate of the horse breeder. If you haven't done so already, I would love a tour! Thanks Andy 😊

Planning a holiday in Brid, Andy? Can't do better than the North Bay area - Limekiln Lane. The headland, land train station, clean public toilets, North Beach fisheries, coffee 'n cake kiosk, ice cream kiosk, covered seating and rentable beach chalets. Clean, safe, close to bus stops, amenities and the Flamborough areas - Danes Dyke, South Landing nature trail, Flamborough Head lighthouse and tourist tat (gift shop) and Thornwick Bay.
Actually, having looked that one up, they are right to say that. Because the Hutton le Hole model village is part of a museum exhibit, it's not theoretically purpose built. Bondville is.
I've never been to Bridlington as far as i can remember, looks a nice place. I dont like crowds either, maybe its an age thing. I did go on holiday to Whitby in January when no one else was there😂

Be a very long time if ever they play liverpool 👍🤣
I lived in Bridlington for 35 years, and loved it. Such lovely people, so many flat walks. You did the place proud. Thank you.

A very interesting history of Bridlington. Had relatives who owned B&B here for many years. Such a lovely place to explore. Many thanks.
One of your best among many❤
We have a local town that is very busy during the Summer but deserted during the Winter and it's beside the sea...we call it "windswept" 🙂
Really good video Andy, thank you. Your research is spot on and really detailed. East Riding series nearly complete now!
Glad you enjoyed it!

You should've heard the bits I had to omit!!
You won't be asking him back? @@TheVillageIdiot
Yet another great video to enjoy. Are we allowed to ask. How is it you seem to have so much spare time on your hands. Not that im complaining.
A vary good video. I use to with my brothers there!.😃
Memory lane. Grandparents retired there so spent holidays with them, they're buried at the Priory Church.
My cousin stayed in the brunswick for 14 years . 😮

@@TheVillageIdiot Thank you for reading and replying to my comment!!! Safe travels, Andy ❤

Queensgate fisheries are a great place for fish and chips. Cheaper than on the coast.
Captive audience there
Never if I knew you were coming to Bridlington we would have invited both in for cup of tea Andy and Nicky.
I was on my own. Didn't know you lived here, or if I did I'd forgot haha
@TheVillageIdiot You are the hardest working man on TH-cam Andy.

Nope. Not planning one, but days trips are always a must!
Andy, there is also a model village at the Rydele Folk Museum at Hutton-le-hole
Bondville's website says its the last one remaining. Not my doing.
Actually, having looked that one up, they are right to say that.

The old name for Bridlington was Burlington, and up until the early 20th century, the locals would still refer to it as "Bolli't'n".
Yes, Dennis sometimes will slip that in conversation, rather unwittingly I think!
I've visited Whitby and Scarborough a few times, but never Bridlington. I have always wondered what it's like.
Wonder no longer 😁
