- I have been a huge fan of Paul and his work for 20 odd years so to have the opportunity to sit down with him over a bottle of Red for a long chat was a genuine pinch myself moment.
After, he left I had a moment where I thought we could be real life friends…. but then I realized it would be impossible because I’m just too much of a fan.

Paul Henry was the OG of morning breakfast. Fuck I had some laughs from him. A shame the woke NZ media and channels tried to take him out. The Moustache Gate laugh was all time.

Since Paul Henry left breakfast tv, it has gone to shit. TV in NZ didn't appreciate what they had. He was the funniest man on TV for ages, and he wasn't even a comedian.

Paul Henry... that is all.. simply brilliant, Dom's ability to let someone flow through stories is what makes a podcast like this. Paul leaving people with wanting more, like many of the best in their craft.
I love watching him again, as an english person living in NZ then when he was on telly I thought he is more real and funny than all other other kiwi presenters. So glad I was in NZ in those years, good times.

Living in Australia until 2019 we had never heard of Paul Henry, then we saw his wonderful free-form speech for ACT. And this interview was well worth watching. Tried "Traitors" and it looks like rubbish to us....each to their own!

I remember listening to Paul on Radio Pacific as their 'roving international reporter'. I watched him on TV in the morning, never before and after he left.

Cute video, I love Paul. The first time I ever saw him on t.v was the breakfast show. They were showing a video of down syndrome people doing sign language and he didn't realize and thought it was someone doing a terrible dance and ge was mocking them before someone told him what it actually was. I spent the rest of the day randomly laughing everytime I recalled his blunder. I watched every morning until he fired and stopped watching after that.
you need to make a "dom clips" channel where you edit in the good bits as i aint got the time to watch the whole thing sadly

But now has to be a conscious father so accuses guests of their drinking to please his controlling wife. Given NZ is so small we now all now.
