So much coming up in this episode with Mark.
We discuss his brand new career transition to a financial advisor at Forsyth Barr, becoming unemployed when Today FM shut down and the toll it took on his mental health, reflections on his time as one of the world’s best cricketers- including his complex relationship with the late Shane Warne, becoming public enemy #1 for a week after he asked the Prime Minister a controversial question on TV, accidentally outing Ryan Bridge on the AM Show and much much more.
I really hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.
Thanks, Dom

Wonderful podcast.
I listened to Ric’s, so got this one from that.
Love the insights.
Never knew you on radio, but loving this, so all the best.
Awesome podcast. Love these long form conversations and it was really interesting to hear about Mark's career. When you listen to Mark commentate cricket his love for the game comes across. I'm so glad he loves that gig so much, because hopefully that means we'll get to hear him commentate for many years into the future. On a separate note don't be afraid to run the podcast for longer. I know you probably had to respect Mark's time (he might have had other commitments that day), but I found it really engaging and I could've listened to you both for hours more! Cheers.
Dom it’s great to watch an interview by someone who knows how to make an entertaining conversation. Great job and I have a better insight into Mark who I have always enjoyed in the media
Stats say he was one of our greatest opening batsmen to be fair. His test average was nearly 45. That's world class.
Richardson is a legend. Only second to Sir Paul Henry. Looking forward to watching this interview with 'the voice of reason'.
Rigor made the very most of his batting ability. A true story of someone who never gave uo
Looking forward to part 2!
Brilliant. Both of you!
Truly great interview, so interesting. It's totally changed how I view Mark Richardson.
One tiny thing, though. Please pick the volume up on the guests microphone 😊
Thanks Wayne. I appreciate the feedback. Aargh, constantly tweaking on the mics in an effort to fix the levels. Thanks for the patience

Two legends clash. 😂😎👍
I'm a recent subscriber to the channel and like the show but I find the odd f-bomb from the host off putting and lowers the interlect of the interviewer. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for that Craig! My mum gave me the same feedback last week. I’ll definitely keep it in mind 😊
Intellect* lol
I love the f... bombs, keep it real and be you.
on yah mark
Just not medical advice eh Mark...
From untrained medical advice to recently trained financial advice as the world economy and markets turn down...
Count yourself lucky Mark, "Just for God's sake, get the jab, go back to work," Richardson said. "Take one for the team.
"Every now and then we have to do something we don't want to do, but your country's calling.
"I don't care what your rationale is behind it, your country is saying, 'We need you', so go and do something."
