Killing Caleb's girlfriend was a bold choice. We are do used to the old trope where the hero rescues the girl, and it's interesting to see what happens when he doesn't.
Yeah its sad... We need cutscene and maps...
Until Blood 2: The Chosen, where all Caleb's buddies are alive again.

I know putting movie reference easter eggs in games probably existed prior to Blood, but they sure did ramp it up to some next level sheeit. Evil Dead, Jaws, The Shining.....and some of them were in hard to reach places. I LOVED the haunted carnival secret level.
The carnival isn't a secret level, it has a secret in it but the carnival is E1 M4

It was an extension of the carnival level....it was one of the attractions there I think.

@@waterpig-p yeah, if the "Lord of all Nightmares" was another boss like a new monster or another Dark god Reincarnation with new attacks, the ending would be not stupid. 2 cerberus are boring, and umbalanced against the single player.

overall considering that Caleb was a dangerous gunslinger from Texas when he was alive
But the flare gun does much more badass/effective work against monks, zombies, ect.

Is it me or is Tchernobog insanely easy to defeat? I found Cheogh and The Cerberus much harder to kill than him.

I don't get it either. That's actually the point of that weapon - LIFE LEECH, DUH! Without health restoration it's only useful as a turret.
You missed the end of Cryptic passage. There's an illustration and some funky music instead of a cut-scene. Look it up.
