Abandoned Hotel Fresno Walk Around

- The Hotel Fresno sure looks creepy and thrashed these days but it was once the finest hotel in Fresno and a destination for the rich and famous.
Closed since 1983, it was opened to great fanfare in 1913 and is the oldest surviving building in downtown Fresno.
This is only a short walk around as the building is pretty secure but its history and possible future are interesting.
So, come along and check it out. As always, if you have any ideas for things you would like to see, please leave them in the comments!

My father was a bell hop in both the Hotel Fresno and the Californian. My father passed back in 2004. He told me about working at both.
In the 1960s, Hotel Fresno became a Senior Home. In the 1980s, It was Losing Money and had to close down. It evicted everyone that lived there.

It looks like theres someone under the O that reads hotel.
One of my favorite shows used to be California's gold kind of reminds me of that show definitely should so some interviews mark

Googled 1913 Fresno Ca. and look who's smiling face pops up...Magoo! with his best version of Huell Howser ( misspelled I'm sure) pretty cool.

is this hotel really haunted?
I don't believe in that stuff but I don't know that I've heard it was. I'm not from the area and am not familiar with any legends that may be attached to it.
I still hope to talk my way inside it sometime!

It's an eyesore too old run down broken down old building...needs to be torn down and make way for new high rise modern tower with 25 stories high with residential and hotel/ commercial mixed use...fresno NEEDS a new tallest tower ALREADY.
It is nasty looking, but I'd still like to get inside before it comes down.
