One thing I wanted to mention is that MVNOs (these smaller carriers that use the big carrier towers) are indeed different in terms of service. The MVNOs almost always have lower data priority, so people on the big carrier plans will have better speeds. Depending on location, that may make a large difference. The other factor is that many MVNOs do not have domestic roaming. Different parts of the country rely on domestic roaming more than others, and if you have an MVNO you might not have coverage in those areas (typically rural).

I use Mint Mobile. The difference with budget carriers is data prioritization. The budget carriers use the big 4's towers. So do the big 4. The Big 4 prioritize the data for the users that pay for big 4 service. In very populated places like concerts or downtown, budget carriers (aka MVNOs) will get very slow data speeds since the towers in that area are prioritizing users that pay for big 4 service. If you don't go to these places often it is not a big deal, but if it very important to you to have service in very populated areas, maybe think twice.

11:01 I bought my iPhone 12 mini brand new in January of 2021. When I was at the store, the salesman said "and it's only $34 per month." I don't care how much it is per month; I care with the price is. And I paid it and I hope to get 10 years out of this phone.

I have one question, the trade in program for cell phones. If I buy a 1200 smart phone, but Verizon will give me 1000 for trading in my own device. So I will be paying 200 dollars for a 1200 dollar phone. So my question is, what’s the benefit of paying 1200 in full. Where if I stay with them for 36 months, I only pay 200 for my phone?
