Hylia's Lullaby: The Royal Family of Hyrule has passed down a sacred technique to each and every princess born into the family. Only in the presence of all the parts of the triforce and the power of the sages. The goddess Hylia has always sat deep inside every single princess of Hyrule. Trapped in an endless cycle to protect the world. But by invoking the power of the triforce, and the power of the sages. The princess is able to awaken the goddess in order to strike down any foe, at the price of their life. Hylia's lullaby has been used only once. A long time ago, a hero known as the hero of time appeared to save the world from Ganondorf, the Gerudo King. Ganondorf wielded the triforce of power, and used it to over take Hyrule. When the Hero of Time reached Ganondorf, he was defeated, and the princess of Hyrule made the ultimate sacrifice.
Huh...ya know, that's an amazing way to showcase the Imprisoning War, and it makes sense. It honestly gives the the vibe of Hylia herself stepping in and saying 'No, not today, my world, my people, are not yours to destroy' Yet the strain was too much for Zelda's mortal body... Yeeeeaaaah I'll go...have a good cry. Good work ^^
Wow. This was really enjoyable to watch and kinda hurts ngl. Poor Link and Zelda. I'm glad you shared it. (kudos on using Brock Hewitt's music, it's so emotional and works well with your animation)
Thanks so much! I was going to do the feathered wings from the goddess statue and then thought...wait a minute...Link's shield though. THOSE wings. That would be much cooler ^-^
"And in this way, just like thousands of years ago, the spirit of the Goddess, carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders, uses her remaining strength to bring an end to the darkness that plagued the world, while suffering a Once again, the loss of the human being who she loved most"
Beautiful and sad at the same time! Came here after watching MajorLink’s animations, and this is amazing! Zelda sealing Ganon and falling next to Link was very emotional gripping, and you did an amazing job portraying that
OK... I know this is sad, but as a SUPER big OOT fan, hear me out - I actually think this is a much better fate for Link - Hero of Time is my personal favorite Link, and at LEAST in this way, his finals moments are in the hands of the Princess he fought for with all his heart. It's in my opinion, a MUCH better fate than getting all your accomplishments erased, forgotten about, and silently curved to Termina, Dying in a war with no legacy at all, doomed to become the Hero's Shade with little to offer more than passing down some fighting knowledge... Is it a better ending for the Kingdom, no... But, I think it's a better ending for Link, I just always feel like his actual fate was just sad and depressing - This is, at least an ending where he doesn't die forgotten and alone :(
Well we don’t know that much about what the Hero of Time did after MM. We know that he grew up, had a child with someone, presumably became a knight, and didn’t pass on his sword skills. It’s never truly stated that he died in battle and was alone. While it is very possible it did happen, it’s just as likely that he lived a more mundane life and didn’t pass on his skills due to them not being needed, and lived a long life with a family, it’s all up to interpretation.
This is absolutely brilliant! You did an amazing job on this!! It made me emotional too. Bravo! I don't know how a great animatic like this has so little views.
Aww, thank you so much -^^- When the songs I used were released by the musician I couldn't help but make something around the music. Just tugs at so many heartstrings!
That's amazing! I subscribed last month, thinking you would never upload again, but here we are! That's some great animation! I love it! I also shared your creation via Reddit so I hope to bring more people here =D
Aww, thank you so much! Animating is something I love doing but don't have enough time for yet. I'm hoping to soon, though :) Thank you for your support!
i came here just to see an animation not to cry, it's so beatiful and sad just to think everything link has done to this point of the story just to die, it's just bitter. Yet the animations is perfect, amazing job. i want to see more things like this from u in the future
I randomly woke in the middle of the night and came over on my phone. Randomly saw this and took a look. This is beautiful and sad. Thank you for sharing. Hope all is well now.
I know I’m late to this but this left me speechless, Ganon being so overcome with corruption he becomes a beast to defeat Link, Zelda knowing they’ve lost yet refusing to give in summons all her power to manifest prayer and embody a physical manifestation of her goddess as the mortal incarnation of Hylia to strip Ganon of his Tri-force then uses hers and Links to seal the darkness for the next cycle. It’s up for interpretation or maybe I’m reaching too much but this is what I saw and got it to be brought to screen is as much a miracle as Zelda’s wish in this animation❤
Brooo this is not an animatic, this is a solid layout with rough detail, there are pleny of "animations" on yt that are less than this. Excelent job, it's so enjoyable
This is so brilliant I think I nearly cried watching :') Everything is so powerful and emotional and not to mention the art. Great job! I hope I can see it finished but no rush :)
I was entirely speechless when I saw this animatic, but this is a masterpiece on its own. I absolutely love how you captured the essence of The Legend of Zelda series.
Just came across your video and got really impressed, great job! You really know how to draw and the storyboard is nicely and clearly done. I'm working on a Zelda fan animation as well, it's kind of beyond my ability but I'd give it everything I got and hope to complete it by the time Tears of the Kingdom releases.😄 I read your story in the description, it's unfortunate... I hope you've found a position that allows you to shine your talents. Good luck!
I always imagined that they would end the legend of zelda series by ending Demise's curse by actually confronting him again. Old foes show up again, like Vaati and the Oracle final bosses, etc. The last descendant of the hero's spirit going down in history as the Hero of Heroes and the true Vanquisher of Demise. Confronting the powers and maybe exodus of the three goddesses and the true intentions and past of Hylia (maybe even the "Goddess of Time"). Giving up the Triforce and connection to the Sacred Realm to live in a truly peaceful era for millenia to come by using/wishing on the Triforce itself. Or permantly find a way to close the Sacred Realm with the Triforce remaining even. It would be a interesting way to reboot the series or kick off anything else 😊
When you force a child to be an adult, at any moment, they can crumble... OoT Link really is the saddest, when he win he desapear from the timeline to be in one where nobody will ever remember him, he doesn't even have a choice the moment he take the sword he is just put into a world that want to kill him in every corner... It's either its spirit can endure it until the end or die, bleh.
Omg this is an amazing animatic 😭😭 I would love to see this fully animated someday! Btw what's up with the Master Sword at 2:12? It looks different before it goes back to its normal self, is Zelda using the Master Sword to channel her power or something, causing it to transform? Sorry I gotta know the lore of this xD
Hello! ^^ So the master sword used to be a little different in the manga that comes before Skyward Sword. The goddess gives it to the first legendary hero, but since it was made by the gods for the gods, he must break it and reforge it to be a weapon that a mortal can use. I thought it would be a nice call back if the goddess used it to siphon power from, since she didn't have the 3rd triforce piece to imprison Ganon with :)
@@commodoretrist ohhh that's right! It's been years since I read the SS manga so I'd totally forgotten about that detail. That is a pretty awesome callback, I love that attention to detail :D
Zelda doesn't turn into a goddess, she is the reincarnation of the goddess Hylia and embodies her here. Also the war happens after Ganon has been sealed away.
Friendly reminder that OoT Link is nine, he may be in the body of a 16 year old right now but make no mistake. That’s a dead 9 year old on the ground.
Zelda: alright time to show you why the series is named after me you disgusting pig.
Remember, Link didn't die in vain in this timeline. He freed the Sages who in turn defeated Ganon in his place
Now look, I did not give you permission to make me cry, yet here we are. Truly beautiful.

You don't seem to understand, hyrule isn't yours too conquer.
Many years later
Link: I call it the korok kehab!
Zelda would have to be alive somehow to pass on her bloodlines or it'd end with her
Yeah, the creator said she's alive in one of the replies. So not all is hopeless!
And now, the begin the new Hero, in A Link to the Past.
Wow. This was really enjoyable to watch and kinda hurts ngl. Poor Link and Zelda. I'm glad you shared it. (kudos on using Brock Hewitt's music, it's so emotional and works well with your animation)
It did hurt to draw as well lol TwT
I absolutely ADORE the design of Zelda’s wings!! Very creative and inspired ❤️✨
Thanks so much! I was going to do the feathered wings from the goddess statue and then thought...wait a minute...Link's shield though. THOSE wings. That would be much cooler ^-^
Too much anime
Frick.... heck.... gosh dang it.... heckin'.... onion ninjas.... frackin'....
....
_Artful._
Well this is simultaneously ridiculously beautiful and the saddest thing ever. Fantastic job, but this killed me
Aw, thank you and I'm so sorry lol. I have a happier ending written but debated putting it in. ;)
Put it in please I’m begging you also it was so sad but amazing at the same time
"And in this way, just like thousands of years ago, the spirit of the Goddess, carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders, uses her remaining strength to bring an end to the darkness that plagued the world, while suffering a Once again, the loss of the human being who she loved most"

The moment I see the fallen Master Sword, I got goosebumps! I know I'll be watching something great XD
You've earned a sub for this. Good Job!
Yay thank you very much! :D
amazing! i got chills when hylia appeared
Uderrated, you did a great job!
link might have been defeated, but at the end he certainly didn't lose :')
This wouldn't have happened if Link was carrying the Biggorron Sword.
Wow beautiful work!
I was just imagining an animated short film about the 7 years in which Link was in the Temple of Time and Ganondorf took over.
That's amazing! I subscribed last month, thinking you would never upload again, but here we are! That's some great animation! I love it!
I also shared your creation via Reddit so I hope to bring more people here =D

That was awesome. You made my heart drop. I really loved how you draw Zelda's wings and everything!
I'll try and share this to my friends ^^ 💖💖
Thank you so much! :D
This is really amazing!
Thank you! I hope to make more and polish some of them as I get better at animating :)

bascially the start of the fallen hero time line
I hope you are able to do a finished version
That would be amazing
I hope so too! I definitely have plans to improve this one :)
Brooo this is not an animatic, this is a solid layout with rough detail, there are pleny of "animations" on yt that are less than this. Excelent job, it's so enjoyable
Gosh this needs more views. What a beautifully tragic portrayal of the Decline Timeline.
This music with the animation made me have tears of nostalgia and joy
Between alttp and the oracles games truly the best timeline
This is so brilliant I think I nearly cried watching :') Everything is so powerful and emotional and not to mention the art. Great job! I hope I can see it finished but no rush :)
Nyaww, thank you :) I really do want to work on it more when I'm able to receive enough income to solely work from home ^^
This was so beautiful and sad! Bravo!
Wow this is absolutely breathtaking! Your sense of timing and movement is impeccable!!! I'm stunned
Thank you so much :')
Wooow this is amazing!!!

I would love to see this fully animated, i think it would be so fucking pretty
When I get better at animating I hope I can polish this up more for sure! :)
I hope you will be able to complete this one day. Just in this raw and unfinished format it is already beyond beautiful.
It’s literally 5:30 in the morning and I watched this only half processing.
It’s not super smooth but the art is gorgeous and I love the story
Is Zelda Dead?
Because the Thing is that the Goddess Hylia's Bloodline needs to keep going
If I ever have the time to get back to this project, there is an extra section that will happen after the credits where she gets up again :)
I'm still new to LoZ lore but wow, this is amazing!!
PAUSE. this is SO GOOD
Bruh that was so beautiful and so sad????? aaaaaaaaa
Thank you! Sorry for the sads! XD

OK HEY OW???? MY HEART???
Ow! My feels! Oooowwwww!
I didn’t need my heart. This is fine
When will the colored one be out this is beautiful

A goddess you may add 😏
It's soo beautiful and sad too😍😢.But I didn't fully understand it.Can someone please explain?
SOBBING
*gives all the tissues!* :3
: O
May I please use your video in a fan fiction story I am writing?
In the hero is defeated timeline there's a entire war that happens so Zelda turning into a goddess is not what happens. But it's still pretty
Zelda doesn't turn into a goddess, she is the reincarnation of the goddess Hylia and embodies her here. Also the war happens after Ganon has been sealed away.
Cool, not what I think happend thou
