I thought you'd like to see a test drive of this awesome 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Pro Street car. This is definitely one awesome beast. It's powered by a full roller Gen 5 454 Big-block Chevy, topped with a Weiand 8-71 Blower and a Big Stuff 3 fuel injection system. All that power is funneled through a Turbo 400 Automatic with a 2800 stall converter and a Cheetah SCS shifter. Out back, there's a 9 inch Ford rear with 4.10 gears and Posi. There's also a Mustang II front suspension, four wheel disc brakes, Vintage A/C unit, aluminum radiator, electric fans...the list goes on and on. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!

Man, lets see a shot with the throttle plates wide open!!
Yep, that thing really is a monster. It's fun to see it in action.
I don't need a big block supercharged Vette but I sure liked watching this one going down the road !!!!
Awesome car! I say its holding in excess 800+HP. Great vid, Jeff - absolutely love all your videos!
It would be really easy to get a lot more out of it too. Right now, they have a pretty large pulley on the blower. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Excellent camera, editing, and overall production.
Thank you, we appreciate that!
at 3:47, somebody is dead on the side of the road...
oh god
OMG!!!!
Francois Vezina lol he's getting sound
That was me!
Maybe he just likes laying in the grass.
boy i love the sound of that engine
Yep, that one is a real beast. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thanks ....I really like that shot of the blower too. Thanks for watching my friend!
Yep, that thing is a wicked beast. Thanks for taking a look Murray!
Fantastic camera angles. The whine of the blower really adds to the experience of viewing this video. This was a real pleasure to watch....... Love it! Thanks for posting.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it
Thanks Greg...it's going to take some experimenting to get it all just right, but it's fun trying some new stuff. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking a look my friend....it really is a wicked machine.
Wow 😮 that’s awesome!! Love the sound!!
WOW. Incredible car. Great camera shots. Looks like you guys are getting really creative with the drive bys, hood mounts, long pans etc. Fun to watch Jeff.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for taking a look!
Lot of time has gone into this video and the results paid off, plus an awesome car to boot, great work
Blowers are just awsome

+Gareth Winchester Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
love the sounds
Very nice, top shelf it looked like you could dive into that paint.
Thanks for taking a look Racer!
Thanks for the experience!
what's with all the thumbs down? this is a great looking and sounding car!
Juan Acum ford owners did thumbs down.
Juan Acum of course it is but ti get the full effect video from inside going foreward. Thats the way to showcase the front end rising up with the sheer acceleration. From say 20 to 30 mph to a 100 or so! Its as if the person watching is in the car itsself!😕
I didnt give it thumbs down but those dragster things make look ugly to me, the blower looks ok though
been waiting on this ever since.you showed it a few weeks ago worth the wait...and great angles for all views great job!!! CJ...
Hope it was worth the wait....thanks for watching!
Glad you like it, thanks for watching!
1:46 Mad Max Interceptor o_O
Thanks for checking it out Sam! Yep, that thumbnail is pretty sweet.
There are muscle cars and hot rods for just about any budget. You can buy them in various stages of restoration. The one in this video is definitely not inexpensive, but you are still getting a lot for the money. Thank you for watching!
Nice Vette. I Love the Car and the Sound!!
Great Job
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
This should have way more view!! very sick machine
Love the engine sound and love the looks of the car in red
my gosh what an animal. total beast
That sound OMG!
Once Again , Great camera shots !!!!
Thanks for checking it out!
Dear Santa.
Nicely done, love the view of the blower while driving!!!

Judging by how it runs, it's well over 500 HP, but we didn't want to overstate it. Craven Performance built it and they have a dyno, so they probably know what it's really capable of. It looks like the blower is underdriven right now...a pulley swap would definitely wake it up.
I couldn't imagine taking something like that beast for a Sunday afternoon drive. I love it man, thanks for the video. Pure American muscle...Cheers..
Wayne.
Glad you like it....thanks for watching!
why did you hack up a clasic car you ass hole
stunning
thanks for good music and motor sound :)
Killer build , lot of car for the Cheddar, mild tune with that big blower pulley
man u have the best cars over there...
Nice new camera angles,Good to see your stepping up your game .
Thumbs up again
extremely beautiful car😎🚔
Very nice. That had to be fun. I have never driven anything like that. That is just a beast of a car. I did get to drive a 2,000+ hp vehicle once but that was just at a cruising speed of 12 knots. I didn't get to put it through its paces. I hear it tops out at nearly 14.5 knots. lol
Pretty inspirational stuff there! I want to put a 454 into a C3 Corvette at some point, and maybe stroke that to a 496 before putting on a blower. So much torque...
Yep, you kind of notice that blower in front of you a bit :) I think it's worth a little lost visibility though. Thanks for taking a look Matt.
it such a really cool beast, greeting from Bali :-)
You're right Jos....this one is pretty mean. Thanks for checking it out!
Need sun glasses with that paint. Sounds great!
So I walk up in the shop like yo what up i got a BIG BLOCK !!!
Love that vet pro Street rules
Honestly not sure, we were taking it real easy on it. The owner wouldn't appreciate us really hammering on it. I will say this though, as soon as the boost climbed past 2 psi, it was already rolling the tires off.
MAD MAX (1:46)- That takes time to freeze your blood...cool sound! Thanks Sir.
Glad you liked it....thank you for watching!
Nice ride
What a bad ass video ..... Blowers are cool !!
Thanks for watching!
That's one heck of a mean machine :)
Glad you like it....thank you for watching!
Just a random dead body...lol. No, that was my friend Steve, from Area Rides, trying to get a cool camera angle.
Can't wait to upload videos of my 1971 Pro Street Mach 1! Need motor upgrades.
This is the most American thing you can drive. You can smell the apple out and hear the bald eagles cry if you listen closely.
That's just sick.
Sweet car
Yep, that thing is a pretty wicked beast.
Wild One!
now thats a muscle car
i hope thats not a OEM hood you moron
It really is a blast!
Awesome.
Nice car 👍
Freakin beyond awesome omg....
That's pretty wild Bud!! That oughta make a Chevy lover outta ya eh!!☺
I do not think the massachusetts DOT would let that car to be registered, such a shame it is a really nice car and at a good price.Damn I know it cost more then 70k to build it,what a steal and it comes with air con.
I to be honest prefer the sound of roots on Diesel engines because you can hear more of the supercharger
pretty nice ride wish I had one, wait a minute I do have one. 502 bbc on the bottle, 9 inch, tubed, 4 link, on coil overs all 4 corners, 12 point cage, disk all the way around, very skinny's up front, holds a 31x16.5x15 slick in the back and a 7 gallon fuel cell . And yes jerry they destroyed what was probably a nice mid year C2 corvette. The only thing left on mine that is corvette is the body and about 3 foot of frame. a friend of mine bought it at the drag strip in Houston Texas, 22 years ago, ive been tryin to buy it from him for 13 years. and well I finally got it last year. Simoparas if you go back and watch the video, you will notice that the butterfly's never open up on the super charger. they probably never hit over half throttle. im pushin 600 rwhp without the bottle, and mine has crazy power
I've seen that car driving around my neighborhood (Clarkson Valley), always wanted to chase it down and get a better look but never happened. The blower whine would tell me it was coming long before it arrived.
MAD MAX (1:46) ....takes time to frezze your blood! Damn cool badass! Thanks Sir.
I did all the editing, but I had my friend Steve, from Area Rides here on YT, helping me out with some camera work. That was Steve lying on the side of the road.
I'm sure it cost more to build. That thing is a monster.
Man that would be crazy totally mean looking car
those american v8's really come alive with superchargers
Cool car
Nice
Yeah, we were taking it really easy, because the car is being sold on consignment. I don't think the owner would want us smoking the tires off.
It did come out of their shop, but I'm not sure exactly how much they did to it. I did see a video of the car on their channel though.
I've never seen a Mustang II susp. in a Vette before. I went with Jim Meyer for a 55 and an Anglia.
A blown 454...............LOL. Nuts.
Listen with your best headphones. sounds amazing
That Vette sure means bissnis eh Jeff ! Awesome and perfect color for me aswell...
Oh god I can see the weelee bar oh no
