Just found your channel and have, so far, just watched two posts. I love them. They have subjects and a tone that I can relate to and really like and enjoy watching. Thank you so much. Looking forward to the next chapter.
The camera opens up the entire world to me, it teaches me how to see, think and feel. Plus it engages strangers to talk to you. Photography is my life.
Just stumbled on your channel via the Ricoh film, then here. Hope you're still out there and creating and hope we see more from you. We all go through these phases and mine lasted about 10 years until a couple of years ago when I dusted off my gear again and instantly got the bug back. Looking forward to more.
Hey thanks so much for the lovely message! yes im our here still creating just a busy end of the year renovating my house! and not much time for youtube making but as of January a regular schedule will resume!
Love the honesty in your struggle to get out capturing daily life through your camera. Sometimes you just need to step away and have a break. Welcome back! Keep doing what you love. )
Life can be hard at times and we all need to dig deep to see the light. This is such an inspirational video from the first word to the last. Your story telling is some of the best there is on TH-cam and you pair that with your amazing visuals. You are such a talented young man and it’s so great to see you back doing what you love. It’s great to have Life Work And Dreams back and I can’t wait for the adventure to continue. Well done man❤
Lovely stuff and great to see you are back behind the camera. I'm sat on a train back home after a fairly fruitless trip to London, so this has reminded me to keep going. Cheers!
Been missing your videos. Made me really happy to see this pop up today. Your return (hopefully long-lived?) has inspired me to dust off my X-T20 and go out shooting. Best wishes to you and yours.
What a great video. Lovely, honestly, true. I think everyone has times, where we are struggling. For different reasons. So good to hear/see you're back. Welcome, I'm looking forward to your new works👍🏻
Perhaps this is how you evolve😊. I will follow your work and I will start going out again because of this video. You see sharing your story helps others too. Thank you.
I can totally relate man. Life been getting in the way for me recently and I've been battling the "whats the point?", i cant improve if i dont get the time to shoot. Its easy to say just make the time but life quite often has other ideas. Then when i do get out, i put so much pressure on myself. Its a vicious circle sometimes. You have a new subscriber here. Keep up the great work 👍👊
Im there mate.... Its a strange feeling... Im pushing though. It will happen again, photograhy is great, just walking around with a camera is therapy.... that is more than enough.
And so as one chapter ends we will all lucky enough to read the next one, to see it unfold, and take on new form, to become a Phoenix that rises once again, ok a bit dramatic but the sentiment holds true, welcome back.
In NYC, I just make sure my camera is in hand when I go outside and I enter a different state of consciousness. No effort required. Later I look at the mining in the river to see if there’s any gold. There almost always is.
I thought you were giving up then, keep it moving King… I always look forward to your street videos and was wondering when you’re gonna post a new vid… Good to see you back at it!💯💪🏾🕺🏿
Just found you. We are in Carlton, Nottingham. We dip in and out of our love of photography. A couple of years ago it was all about photographing people in Nottingham. Then the joy wained. Until a few weeks ago and the itch returned. The idea of lugging about an SLR isn't grabbing at the moment. So we have just ordered a pair of old Sony RX 100's. The mark 1's. Hopefully some black and white street photography will happen. If not, we have tiny cameras to carry with us if the urge arise arises. Just subscribed to you.
Think it is okay to take a rest from photography. It's good for recharging your creative battery. I do that from time to time and it feels good to me. It takes the pressure off and you can devote yourself to your passion refreshed.
I reach for my Fuji every single day..... yet like you I have periods of not wanting to. I think these are important Reset days / weeks / months. Its all normal. 😎📷👍👋
I am subscribed to many channels. I actively look through the list for your films as they are poignant. Do you give up, unless the act of creating them is doing you damage. Thanks
Thanks so much Robert! I'm still here working away on photography... I have some ideas for new content on the channel. I definitely have not given up ✌️
Ive just watched a video called Souless Street photography. A professional photographer moaning that all street photos look the same, crushed blacks, bright whites, sick of seeing photos of Japan with the same music. An endless tirade of whats wrong. I wanted to slit my throat and throw away my cameras. Not an inspiring video at all. Talk about a put down. We are all on a journey, some at the beginning, or like me a 79 year old who loves street photography. I like mine, dont care if nobody else does. I try and capture a moment in time. People interacting with one another at the local market. Photos of my great grandchildren. I admire your honesty, and sincerely hope you manage to get back into what you love and do so well..
Just stumbled across your video and thought to myself he sounds like he's from my neck of the woods (middlesbrough) clicked on your channel to find out more and lo and behold you're in Nottingham which is where I am...Great photography! keep up the good work man...we should grab a coffee - @waste_studio
