I bought my first spinning bike today. My budget was 600e and I ended up with the model "Fitnord Racer 500". I think it's exactly the same bike as the "Sunny 1805", but we have it under a different name in Finland. I paid 539e for the bike. Now I will change the saddle and pedals to better ones. Hey! I have been binge watching your videos and I wanted to express my gratitude for all the hard work you have put into these videos. I wanted to purchase the IC4 via your link but it’s not available on Amazon at the moment (one seller has it available for $1,500). Sorry I can’t use your affiliate link! Once again, thank you for your videos. They’re the best in the game!
My main concern now is serviceability, I bought my wife the Cyclace 2 years ago and now the pedal snapped off the crank and the crank itself is not replaceable, is there a bike that is budget friendly but also made of good materials?
Have you finished the Joroto X2 Pro to the X2? I see there is an X4s now as well. I'm curious if I would be able to connect the X2Pro to the Peloton App correctly.
Truly diggin' my Yesoul indoorbike; it keeps workouts way more interesting. If you're hunting for a solid bike, Yesoul is totally worth the recommendation.
I've always used a friction bike and have very little experience with magnetic resistance. The times I've used it I haven't liked that there are "levels" and nothing in between...does anyone have any more recommendations for a friction resistance bike?
Great review video. Will watch again and a few others as I am looking to add more cardio time and unable to increase time at the gym. For longevity and healthspan cardio I am told to monitor the wattage output (for maintaining the correct zone/workout and progression). Would one of these bikes allow me to do that? If not any suggestions of the type of bike I should be looking at?
I'm between an echelon gt and the echelon ex-4s+, as my options are limited living in Hawaii. Not only is shipping very expensive for certain bikes, but others won't deliver here at all, like the gt+. Is there any real advantage to the ex-4s+of I don't intend on using the screen?
I don't know if you already bought one of these bikes, but I hope you didn't go Joroto. I've had mine for about 8.5 months and a few weeks in I had to buy new pedals because the ones that came with the bike were squeaking like crazy. New pedals fixed the issue and the bike worked perfectly without any issues until a few weeks ago I noticed that the bike wasn't pedaling smoothly anymore and there was a lot of friction. Just today the bike started making a horrible and loud sound coming from the bottom bracket on every pedal rotation. It is likely an issue with the bearings or something else wrong with the bottom bracket which is going to be a pain to take apart and fix. Joroto definitely doesn't pass the reliability and durability test imo.
I reviewed it and made several videos with it on my channel, please search my channel. It’s fine, I didn’t love the riding position, it was stretched and low handlebars for me, but I’m tall
So i just bought the Sunny 1805 smart, and it should be here in a few days. My reasoning behind purchasing it was to just tone up and lose some belly fat ( getting old sucks ) and i know Diet is a HUGE part of what i am after.. but in all honesty.. can i expect to see results from Just a Stationary bike,.. or should i Also incorporate some weight training as well ??

Sure you can spend alot more.. and sign up for apps and workouts and pay monthly... but you need to look at it from the aspect of it is exercise equipment. And using it is up to you. If you feel you will use it daily the sunny is a great place to start and move up from. But why spend over $1k on a bike you may not be sure you will use.

If you had the budget to purchase the most entry level indoor cycling bike from a commercial fitness equipment brand like Matrix or Octane or Lifefitness even though those bike have a light flywheel weight would they probably be smarter choice in terms ride feel and also not getting a piece of junk /clothes hanger??
Could be a good move if it’s in good condition. I bought and reviewed a Keiser m3i commercial bike that had tens of thousands of miles on it and appeared to be very old. I spent over a thousand on it, and despite its super lightweight flywheel, it was one of the better bikes I’ve reviewed.
