  • I can’t tell you how many estheticians tell me how frustrating it is trying to grow their solo esthetician business so here’s what I would focus on if I was staring over from the beginning and wanted to build my solo esthetician business.
    Hey everyone! If you're a new esthetician starting out on your own and feeling a bit scared, this video is for you. I know how daunting it can be to launch your solo esthetics business, but don't worry-I've got some practical and realistic advice to help you succeed.
    1. Start Small with Your Space: Instead of immediately renting a high-end studio, consider starting with a small, affordable space or even a room in your home (if regulations allow). This helps keep overhead costs low while you build your clientele.
    2. Master Your Budget: Keep a close eye on your finances. Track all expenses meticulously and prioritize spending on essential items that directly impact client experience and safety. Consider low-cost marketing strategies like social media and word-of-mouth.
    3. Be Prepared for Slow Periods: In the beginning, you might not have a steady stream of clients. Use this time to refine your skills, improve your space, work on marketing strategies, and build your online presence. Patience and persistence are key.
    4. Utilize Free or Low-Cost Marketing: Leverage social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook to showcase your work and connect with potential clients. Create engaging content, such as before-and-after photos, client testimonials, and educational posts about skincare.
    5. Seek Mentorship and Community: Connect with experienced estheticians and join industry forums or local esthetician groups. Having a support system can provide valuable advice, referrals, and emotional support as you navigate the challenges of starting your solo business.
    Ready to take the plunge and start your solo esthetics business? Remember, every successful esthetician started somewhere, and with the right preparation and mindset, you can achieve your goals. If you found these tips helpful, please give this video a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, and hit the notification bell so you never miss an update. Share your thoughts and questions in the comments below-I love hearing from you! Let's support each other on this incredible journey to becoming successful solo estheticians. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next video!

    It’s so good to see another esthetician say to work for someone else to gain experience. I was going to go solo also but I happened to get a job as an esthetician. It built my confidence and help me practice educating my clients better about ingredients and the importance of a skin routine. It’s not to say you can’t go solo but working for someone else made me realize what type of business I wanted to be. Both are possible. Great video and great perspective! 😊

      My experience has been great for the most part 🙌🏾 with all of the continuous learning, especially with Circadia. I'm learning so much through the Circadia University online mixology 💖 but my 1st 3 months of being a solo esthetician was a struggle 😢 but l couldn't give up because it's my passion & l really wanted to offer the things l love w/o having to compromise 💕

    Can you give some advice for us who are going into school soon but have learning difficulties like adhd? I’ve been on medicine for it for the past six months but I still find it hard every day to focus. I’ve tried traditional college twice and dropped out because they were not what I loved. But those classes were so hard to focus on and I’m worried that these classes will be the same. The school I’m going to doesn’t exactly have much accommodations for people like me.

    • @ChandaliTheEsthetician
      @ChandaliTheEsthetician  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Omg this is such a good question, honestly I’m not sure because I personally don’t have adhd but I can speak from the experience of being an adult going back to school after years of not going back it was hard to focus…I continued to practice my skills and my hands on skills…I would also make list of things and information I needed to study because I’m a visual and written learner combined so I had to work extra hard to avoid feeling overwhelmed. I would say give it your best try, don’t be to hard on yourself.
