Don’t select a course which is totally opposite to your previous education path since that might result in rejection of your application from BITS PILANI side.

For M.Tech software systems.. You need to have a bit of python or c or c++ or Java coding knowledge. There will be some assignments for that you need coding knowledge
EC-2 is closed book and the final exam EC-3 is open book type. Malpractices are not possible since you will be monitored or proctored while doing your physical / Online exams

You should not be jobless. Better not to switch during the course period of 2 years and if switched BITS PILANI should be informed and your course becomes invalid since this course is eligible only for WORKING PROFESSIONALS
I heard from my juniors that online exams are no more and only physical examinations are conducted. Only if you are in business trip or stuck with official commitments you are allowed to take online.
It’s not like that… the professors are mostly strict in giving marks they expect you to write something relevant since it’s an Open book exam. Most of the professors have completed their PHD. So no doubts about the teaching quality. Check point is that if you get the least D grade in most of the subject you will not meet the 55% eligibility criteria in getting the degree certificate. Then you have to redo a highest grade subject to clear that which is not an easy task! I’ve seen one person struggling for that.
I don’t have live examples to confirm you that it’s accepted Nitu but I would say move it everywhere as REGULAR course degree. No one have faced issue till date since no where in the degree certificate it will be mentioned as WILP.
Many companies all over the world accepts this a regular course degree which is a big plus. Salary hike depends on your company and it varies between different organisations.

There is nothing called a commitment time for clearing your exams just ensure you never miss any lectures on weekends. Hope all your batch mates are connected on WhatsApp. Just make use of it.
Since the pandemic is almost over will the exams still be conducted in online mode or we have to travel to designated exam centres twice every semester for the exams?
Currently all exams are conducted in both offline and online modes choice is yours. My guess is that BITS will not remove ONLINE EXAM MODE since they are interested in enrolling more student for all the WILP courses.
Why such a doubt Akash. Recognition of this WILP degree certificate is same as the regular student degree who completes the course. There is no relation with the organisation but it has relation to your field of work! Hope it’s clear!
Mentor utilisation it’s with you how much support you want you can extract from him. But I would say to select a mentor who is friendly if you want to score high marks. His score matters a lot for grading you. To be Frank, mostly mentor will be used for signature purposes & during assignments submissions.

I’ve not seen anyone failing unless they didn’t appear for their examination. I would suggest to prepare well and get the maximum possible mark in the final exam. If everyone scores less because of tough question paper the pass mark will also be lowered. But don’t rely on this too much🤝👍
Hello Mayank usually some people says it is not acceptable in some companies but to be sure I’ve never seen any of my juniors or seniors faced such problems in interview. Learning is just for knowledge. To look on the practical part the degree obtained under WILP is the same has a resident student who completes the course in BITS PILANI. It’s an added advantage

If you fail you should repeat only the failed subject. The worst part is even though it’s one subject you should pay the whole semester fees. One semester can hold only 4 subjects. But don’t get worried I’ve never seen a single student getting failed rather getting the least pass grade. So don’t loose hope and go for it!
Hi Vysali hope you saw the complete video it’s already addressed. Unless you miss to write the exam in the given two opportunities(Regular/Makeup) you will fail. Otherwise you will get the least pass grade E. Throughout my course I’ve never seen anyone who failed rather than obtaining the least pass grade!

Yes sivapriyan if you miss one paper you have to pay the whole semester fees. Anyway BITS PILANI provides you two options Regular/Makeup for working professionals which is a great flexibility! One semester can carry only 4 subjects

There is nothing like pass mark for Quiz Supriya. It’s get added to your final consolidation marks. My recommendation would be to score full marks on Quiz & Assignment so that you can relax for EC2&EC3.

If you want to have a peaceful environment just go with the next intake in the month of April 2023. Two chances will be given REGULAR/MAKEUP for all WILP students which will have a gap of one /two weeks in between. You can choose any of them at your convenience
Can the BITS Btech be attested in other countries namely Gulf Countries like KSA, Qatar ? Since these Countries have Saudi Council of Engineers and Qatar has UPDA ...Has any BITS WILP program guy being able to clear them ? Also how about Immigration to Canada,USA ? Will this BTECH be acceptable during evaluation ?
I’ve done my WES evaluation so it works for Canada and I’ve checked with Anabin website for Germany, both gave positive result. 90% it would be accepted everywhere

Hello Dr. Rajesh I understand how you feel it’s the same for all. My approach would be to score full marks in all Quiz and Assignments. In Mid sem nothing can be done since it’s a closed book. But for final exam Open book try to prepare an index page so that you can locate the topics on lecture PPT’s and write somewhat relevant answers which helps in scoring marks.

Hello Mayank usually some people says it is not acceptable in some companies but to be sure I’ve never seen any of my juniors or seniors faced such problems in interview. Learning is just for knowledge.
To look on the practical part the degree obtained under WILP is the same has a resident student who completes the course in BITS PILANI. It’s an added advantage

BTech degree is treated everywhere as REGULAR one and therefore it is accepted worldwide so no worries👍
If I fail in any subjects , should I repeat the exam only that subject or all the subjects in that Semester ? In that case, i need to pay again the semester fees?
If you fail you should repeat only the failed subject. The worst part is even though it’s one subject you should pay the whole semester fees. One semester can hold only 4 subjects.
But don’t get worried I’ve never seen a single student getting failed rather getting the least pass grade. So don’t loose hope and go for it!

I depends on the period when you apply. If it’s a closer to the deadline they would take much more than usual. Usual timing would be around 5-6 days

Hi Vysali hope you saw the complete video it’s already addressed. Unless you miss to write the exam in the given two opportunities(Regular/Makeup) you will fail. Otherwise you will get the least pass grade E. Throughout my course I’ve never seen anyone who failed rather than obtaining the least pass grade!

Yes sivapriyan if you miss one paper you have to pay the whole semester fees.
Anyway BITS PILANI provides you two options Regular/Makeup for working professionals which is a great flexibility!
One semester can carry only 4 subjects

It depends purely on your situation Gulshan. In my case I only paid my complete course fees. It varies from person to person and the companies they work.

It is 30/100? The chances of getting fail is very least… atleast you will get the least pass grade

I would say go for it. Many of my juniors are there to support you! Just enroll and you will go with the flow. Don’t see the question papers now it will surely make you tensed.

There is nothing like pass mark for Quiz Supriya. It’s get added to your final consolidation marks.
My recommendation would be to score full marks on Quiz & Assignment so that you can relax for EC2&EC3.

Two chances will be given REGULAR/MAKEUP for all WILP students which will have a gap of one /two weeks in between. You can choose any of them at your convenience

Can the BITS Btech be attested in other countries namely Gulf Countries like KSA, Qatar ? Since these Countries have Saudi Council of Engineers and Qatar has UPDA ...Has any BITS WILP program guy being able to clear them ? Also how about Immigration to Canada,USA ? Will this BTECH be acceptable during evaluation ?
I’ve done my WES evaluation so it works for Canada and I’ve checked with Anabin website for Germany, both gave positive result. 90% it would be accepted everywhere

My approach would be to score full marks in all Quiz and Assignments. In Mid sem nothing can be done since it’s a closed book. But for final exam Open book try to prepare an index page so that you can locate the topics on lecture PPT’s and write somewhat relevant answers which helps in scoring marks.
