BITS provides little to no help in projects so you are almost your own on project. I would encourage you to find a mentor who knows data science. Then you will really enjoy your project whatever you decide to work upon
I'm an average B.E. graduate currently working as a professional. I'm interested in pursuing an M.Tech. in Digital Manufacturing, but I'm a bit worried about the difficulty level and my ability to complete the program. Do you have any strategies or advice you can share? Ideally, I'd like to apply before July 14th.🙏

Thanks for your comment. IMO, the program will not be very difficult but You need to devote extra time outside or your job. It becomes hectic sometimes. So, if you can manage it than it should not be very difficult
Hi @UTxLab, thanks for the very informative video. Like you said, it was very important before we take the dive in.
However, I do have one suggestion/complaint. Your voice is very low at times (maybe you are speaking close to the mic instead of keeping yourself free while talking) and words overlap making it hard to understand what you are speaking. My sincere request is to either redo the audio or the video itself. Will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

IMO Cloud is the right choice if you are already working as backend engineer. It would help you to extend your knowledge.

Hi Ankit Ji! After 3rd sem exam, I have been told by the university that 2 subject answersheets (online) have not been submitted by me online after exam. So because of this they reduced my CGPA & said I can not move forward for 4th Sem.
Now what should I do now? I have submitted all exams but they are saying that submission has not been done after completion of the exam.

You need to connect with exam committee. I know its tough on you but this is very unfortunate. Let me also know if you are able to solve it

Hi I was thinking of going m tech design program. In 1st sem , one subject advanced engineering mathematics is present...I am from past 10 years away from the study. I want to know how much is the difficulty level of exam particular for this subject.
Don’t worry about Maths. It is just a fear nothing else.
Take from experience, first it will scary but as soon as you see those old equations, you will have feeling of deja vau
Just be focused on completing assignments and quiz on time - hack to get marks

How is the dissertation will be ? Do we need to come up with an idea or they will give to work on ? And is mentor only enough for the dissertation I saw some additional supervisors and HOD's in office... Could you please clarify this once you are free!
You need to bring your ideas/projects with consultation of your supervisor and present it your professor. BITS professor will decide if your idea/project is good to be a dissertation. Your mentor can be your supervisor as well

Hello Darshan, yes you can and don’t stress out too much. Also focus on assignments and quizzes. Most of the final exam questions will from content after mid semester so focus on that. You will get one or two questions from mid-semester content. By the way which subject, it is?

Dont worry, you can still make it up. Quiz and assignments are counted equally.
If we have overall marks around 50 but EC3 marks is in single digit , can we pass ? Or there is any seperate criteria for final exams?
@@ANANDRAJ-un9bw you mean you have lower marks in mid semester? There is no individual criteria, it is all sum game for one semester per subject.
Now, 50 marks are good enough to avoid E in most of the cases.

Hello, You should always inform your employer and you need a mentor from your company. So, i guess it is not possible

Do you know if we can take a break in between in the semesters? it may be due to office work or personal reasons.
As far as i am aware, it is possible you need to talk to program coordinator before starting of the semester and provide personal reasons.

Don't worry. You need to study but you will get all materials. So it wouldn't be that difficult. The difficult part is managing time with full time job
Overall CGPA means entire mtech course or each semester

I am planning bits wilp Mba in finance , overall how many hours of study this course demand and lectures on saturday and sunday is of what duration?
I can speak only for M.Tech but i guess it will be same for MBA too.
4 hours each day on weekends
2 hrs per class
You need additional hours to attend webinar and do the assignments & quiz. So for me, it was 1 hr each day on weekdays extra

And total course will be conducted in online only all exams labs and practicals
this is what I learned recently...classes are from 10 AM to 6 PM on weekends...course will be completely online and exams should be taken at nearby centers..

As far as i am aware - It is by BITS but you can check with institutes

Hello Ankit, What if we aren't able to show any fruitful results in the Dissertation work? and couldn't complete all that we commited during the abstract submission.
Well, the expectations is that you will show the solid progress and next steps to complete the dissertation work.
If work is not completed, prof may give poor feedback. While I have not known anyone who got it.
I would highly encourage to connect with professional/alumni, in case person needs some help. This is a great opportunity to learn.

It is not for all students, but toppers would be invited to Pilani based on COVID restrictions

If you have less than 5.5, you need to clear/improve it before 4th sem. Else you are not allowed to enroll in dissertation

I am not aware of this process from Wipro as they have different process to get admission. For an example, I did not give any entrance. It was regular M.Tech exams.
This is WILP program so you will be working in your company and doing your M.tech mostly online.

30 as total score is low because it is all relative grade. You should not get any E. But if it is Maths, then you should be on safe side.
