Seems Knizia is out of fashion with the kids today, as they prefer ks minis, convoluted resource conversion engines and their own solitary boards. “Player interaction? What is this? 1999? No thanks!” Amazing how times have changed. This game got a lot of flack for the bad color design and is also hard to find right now, which does not help it.
Played my first game tonight and was smiling the whole time. You're right, it's like all the good parts of Samari, T&E, and TtD. Plus the components are off the hook.
Good rules explanation. Just realized we playetld something wrong.. (that you can only play farmers, if you have 3 or more..and that the farmers can be put up side down in the river (even when you play 3+)) wasnt prepared well enough by just reading the rules throuh once xD so thx for your video! Nice that there is another review to Babylonia..was severeal times looking for other clips about it, but coulnt found any real opinions on the game, beside the bgg video
You realy have to try out blue lagoon, if you liked this! Would love to hear your opinion about that too. I buyed Babylonia simply, because i liked Blue lagoon this much =D
I see the trays are for us with more finess and more control over our fine motor skills. lol Sooo rough with the tokens and trays, no wonder they seem to not work well, too heavy handed.

Ya I plan to seek it out (as well as El Dorado which I also missed).
I wonder why they didn’t just use player shields. The tile tray did not look very stable when it was touched.
player trays are bad. The fix is to get silicone rubber feet that stick on. Poor decision by the publishers, but fixable.
