Shit man im 16 and i mostly listen to early 90s grunge and early 2000s nurock and numetal but thats probably because ive had an extremely fucked up childhood so this generation of music really speaks to me because i understand what it truly means

almost 16 over here and im lovin limp bizkit, metallica, korn, and stuff. theres something about mid/later 80s up to early 2000s rock/metal genres that i struggle to find with todays music
the 90s to me seems like it was the time to be alive, cause from what ive seen, creativity was flowing. korn was the foundation for nu metal, limp bizkit came rollin out, metallica was throwing out awesome songs, pantera found their style, and system of a down talked politics extremely catchily
(i do know metallica was also 80s)

100% agree! For those of us that grew up in the 90's and early 2000's, we really had the best of all things. Music was breaking new ground and giving us something we could actually express ourselves to. Can you imagine trying to hit the skate park today with the current music options? Lol Heck, nowadays you can't even find skate parks and if you do, a mask is required! Lol if someone would have told me and my friends, we had to comply with some stupid mandate we would have torn that place to the ground while jamming to "break stuff".
