@@desertrockunited Queen is easily my favorite Melvins song, from my favorite album. Just strumming around I found chords that were two songs on Houdini, Lizzy & Set Me Straight. I probably should take the time to learn how to play Queen :)
Orange fans - please give me your opinion on the BEST VALUE for an all tube Orange head (not combo) in today's market. 5 to 20 watts would be plenty. There are so many models, i get confused. this would be for me son that plays metal.
Orange Rocker 15, Dark Terror, OR 15. If he plays Metal the dark terror might be the way to go. The Rocker 15 is a good two channel amp if clean tones are important. Rock on!
Great job on the topic! Love Orange amps especially the early 70s models but alas have never owned one. One nit to pick, the Brits say "valve" we say "tube" because after all they are vacuum tubes. Wonder what the Canadians say?
@@odgeUK Yeah, I get it. I don't say anything when Brits say "valve" but I do chide Americans who do. No different than an American who says he'll take the lift to the 3rd floor or pronounce "algae" with a hard 'g'. It's particularly disturbing if an American wants to drive on the right side of the road here in the US.
Subbed from your Melvins Queen short. Looking forward to more great content! Thank you.
Thanks! King Buzzo is The Man!

Stoner Witch is one of their best. Deutrom had a great bass tone and the songs are really good. Houdini is good too.
You all never heard Wishbone Ash live
I have not. I'll check them out.

I used the British term for the Brit amp!
Thermionic Valves. You say Tomato, I say Potato.
