I love ALL of the Kid N Play movies. House Partys 1-3 and "Class Act". Ahh, the 90's... "Why would you call his mother a garden tool?!?!". LMFAO

I totally disagree with you about the title "Story of a Three-Day Pass". It frames the movie really effectively, in a way that just calling it "Three-Day Pass" wouldn't. There is more ambiguity in the latter as to what the movie will be, in a way that doesn't serve the product. This title makes it clear that you're following a soldier on his 3 days R&R in the surrounding area, and that a whirlwind of events will occur before he has to go back. That's a good frame to enter with that can be filled in with a myriad of different good movies in-between.

SEEN IT? (in case you ever do a "remakes seen it"): Italian Job or Bedazzled remakes? I put both together cause they are British films you've seen the originals on your show but just do whichever you think works best.
The newer Italian Job in my opinion is an above average caper film that has to deal with the weight of the title it carries, that's why most people think it sucks when they compare it to the original, but if it was called something else I think it could hold up really well.
On the other hand, the Bedazzled remake with Brendan Frasier suffers from the fact that the devil performance just falls flat for me. Sure, Elizabeth Hurley is a good looking woman, but I just don't think she's that funny.

I have to agree, US is just way too full of holes for me to like it. it's not weird enough for me to toss it up to dream logic and yet not real enough for me to believe it. The suspension of disbelief is just ruined without repair and I just can't like the film.

    • @peanutbutteroven2660

9:30 His hair was longish, probably at least chin length and tightly curled, it grows upward cause it curls in on itself rather than falling towards the shoulders. Slightly looser curls would grow outward like a triangle.
