    Thank you, THANK you, THANK YOU! This series of videos is by FAR the best I've ever seen on thought process and technique of measuring and installing crown. You are clearly a professional that cares about doing a quality job and I am so thankful you took the time to make these videos, they are excellent both in production quality and in content.

    I like your technique for measuring your cuts. I don't know why it never thought of it but makes absolute sense.

    "SAWSET PROTRACTOR" is the most accurate miter finder out there. No Math. No gimmick.
    Do the comparison. Great for cutting on the flat.

    Do you have a video on how to fit the baseboard and cut the extra piece at top of the baseboard?

    I can't decide if this guy thinks he's explaining this to elementary students or if he is just really excited about cutting crown molding. Either way, these videos are great.

    When cutting left hand end of molding as you do, I assume you basically start on a job and just walk it left to right noting your left hand end but/in/out then move to the right end of it, then left of the next, etc.. Do I have that correct?

    Can I remove all of the unwanted static noise? Best video ever. I feel like a pro. That’s how I cut the standing seam roofing metal to keep scratches from cutting with the circular saw.
    Where can I get or make the miter saw Wings like that?

    Does it matter if its a 45° crown or a 38°\52° when cutting upside down?

    • @Bigjmoney83
      @Bigjmoney83 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No you still cut upside down and backwards, those angles are spring angles for the crown. The spring angle is the angle the crown beds on the wall and ceiling. You will still cut your normal 45° inside and outside miters, just make sure the crown is bedding right on the saw deck and fence.

    this is an informative video IF you already have a some experience and have a good idea what he is talking about BUT all it does is confuse the beginner. NOW I'm not saying it's a bad video, just that for some (like me) who is trying to learn how to cut crown. It's a bit confusing and overwhelming.

    I don't claim to be the best carpenter out there but I can tell you this, your pieces you're cutting are going to be install upside down. The cove route out should be always on the BOTTOM when finish. Sorry to be the one to tell you this. Hopefully the home owner doesn't realize it cause you'll pay for the material twice. Be blessed bro
