Work From Home/Anywhere is the most practical solution where the employees have their own choice to work from home or from the office. Work from home's advantages outweighs its disadvantages. If we do video calls with video on mode then we can surely have the required face-to-face interactions without commutations and remove all the disadvantages of working from home.
I disagree with you. Lot of people are Happy in Work from Home. The productivity of employees has been increased this day's. The management point of view is very simple. They are having trust issues on employees. That's why you guys are compiling employees to work from office. This is purely a personal agenda. Nothing more than that. You are ready to bear the infrastructure expenses. But you never want your employees to live a happy and balanced life.

WFH Will make people lazy and make them away from the office environment. That means, you can't able to interact with your office and office members physically.. Only mentally, you can have a contact with your team members.. In WFO,you can have a physical, mental and social interaction with your friends and team members. This will improve your balanced life and work integration..In my point of view, WFO is a best thing. But, understanding the benefits of WFO Will take time. But, it is the best thing. Most of the employees can't able to understand that.

Everyone is at peace when working frok home. There is no awareness of any internal politics that might be going on, plus the added advantage of reduced travelling time. Yes there are some miscreants who take disadvantage of this, but they can always be called to the office. Hybrid is good if the days are not fixed and enforced.
Why can't companies let employees choose their preference? I'm completely ok with having less salary by working from home compared to those who work from office daily (too bad the company I work for can't understand this). With my current job desc it's completely possible to do the work at home. Commuting to the office & back home feels terrrible because of horrible traffic.
@@loveislife7147 You can either be a freelance worker or apply job to a company that allow employees to work from home (this is not easy to find though).

@@loveislife7147 What skill required is determined by companies/employers (not me). It might not be the same for everyone. Perhaps you need to be able to operate a computer at least in order to work remotely.
I too agree that hybrid is the solution going forward..but wanted to know your viewpoint on hybrid model for people who actually have to relocate far from their actual homes... Does wfh(as part of hybrid model) for these people actually has benefit since they are relocating for office ?
My friend works in ONGC, he has 14 days off and 14 days on. They say on off pattern he has to stay in shores for 14 days. So, hybrid model is not new it was only limited in marine industry. Now, it will come in other industries too.
