exactly what I was thinking! Plus aprons usually have great pockets, come in all kinds of cute fabrics, and I like choosing the style that will compliment my outfit.
I too wear aprons, it's part of my daily uniform for house cleaning or painting in my art room. It sets me in the mood to focus on the task at hand.
I just bought one! The cutest linen one off of Etsy. Handmade and can be worn as a dress with a shirt underneath.

If you get grease on your clothes immediately put a generous amount of dawn dish soap on it and let it sit for a day. Then wash it as normal.

I have what I call my “junk clothes” that when I’m just wearing them around the house while doing my chores, etc, those are what I wear! Whenever I’m going to go out & about, I wear my “real clothes” lol my junk clothes are items with stains, rips, etc. I save my better clothes for whenever I’m going out! Once my junk clothes are too worn out to keep wearing them, I cut them up into rags or hankies! 😘 Those dresses look super cute on you!!!
When I came to know our Lord Jesus Christ He led me through scripture to dress modestly as well. I wear long dresses with modest neck lines and sleeves and long denim skirts. I thank God that there are still women who dress modestly in this world. You are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing these beautiful dresses with us! God bless you :) I would love the skirt haul !

YES. I have no religious views on modesty. I just do it because it's more convenient. No special undergarments, nothing is gonna spill out that shouldn't. It's just easier!
Tip - add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap to your stains before washing and the grease and food stains will be gone!

I'd LIVE FOR a skirt haul. Trying to find cute shirts that are also modest is probably one of the most frustrating things about life. I loved this video!
Those dresses are super cute and feminine, and you can always eventually enance them with different accessories, to personalize them, like: necklaces and earrings, bracelets and rings, some waist belt, a nice bag!♡

I don’t have any religious affiliation that requires modest dress, I just think it’s more classy.

I like to add some wide belts for the waist when I wear dresses like this, especially to make a little different from day to day cause I will rewear things throughout the week sometimes lol 😂 shh 🤫

If you make a paste of dawn dish soap and baking soda you can use it on almost any stain. I scrub it on the stain with a toothbrush. ☺️

Likely stain. I’m “older” and tend to get bleach stains more than I used to and those things are just my cleaning clothes now. 😊
You have plenty to offer YT viewers about clothing! I’m just so happy to find someone who wears comfortable, modest dresses, like me.
Great dresses! I wear dresses everyday and appreciate the information. The only suggestion I could make though is for each dress a description of the fabric and the fit. Maybe what size you wear and did it fit true to size or if you had to order a size up or down. Looking forward to more of these video ideas!

I know that some churches have certain dress codes, I am Catholic and I love the concept of modesty, it is putting more interest in what we do than how we look. Every day the less I think about whether I look good and I am comfortable, I feel healthier, I have more time to undertake and live. We need virtues not adornments. blessings to alls ♥ ️🙏

The red and green are definately the prettiest on you. If every dress is going to be the same boxy shape, then flouncy sleeves add more interest.
@Laurie: 🧡 Actually loved her array of flouncy short sleeves. They seemed perfectly light, feminine & airy without being restrictive or excessive. This is something that is greatly appreciated when you battle 📉 fluctuating hormones 📈 & live in a blistering hot🥵 climate too.
🥰 Adore ultra romantic ♀️girly-girl & ☮️boho chic statement sleeves in a garment, but won't wear 97% (esp. long puffy sleeves).😔Don't like much of anything that is fussy or floofy. 😜Feel absurd in flounce. Gravitate toward more classic simplicity.
🤩Thought she looked lovely in the petite prairie floral & botanical patterns. I am highly attracted to pretty prints with 🌸flowers & leaves🍃of all sizes, but usually feel awkward in them (i.e., too precious, churchy or matronly).
😖Learned my lesson bcos they tend to remain forever unworn in my closet.
😉Much more apt to wear a pop of pattern on a scarf, sash, headband, skirt or even pant. 💯% prefer a solid color garment near my face.
Highly appreciate modesty in clothing, but it must also be flattering to the person & suit their lifestyle too.

I re-watched each change of outfit - fun idea and you did a great job! I completely agree with the fear of staining nice clothes. But then I also don’t enjoy wearing clothes that don’t look decent. Always takes courage to wear favorites! 😁

Have you thought of sewing on the coverup underneath for your V neckline dresses? Like it can be a piece of cloth so you don't have to put on that extra top underneath or add on that extra layer of clothing especially when it's hot outside. I'm not Mennonite but I have a medium sized keloid scar closer to my collarbone that I am very self-conscious about and like to hide. I feel like I limit myself a lot on clothing choices because the neckline of my tops are not high enough. Maybe something you can consider?
That's a great suggestion! And your comment reminds me that my mum once gave me little cleavage slips that snap (adjustably!) around your bra straps. They're not my favourite because of sensory issues, but still super handy.
I found a second hand t-shirt and just cut out a v-neck shape and sewed it in. When you are doing it, wear the dress then slip the piece ( cut larger, allow for seams) inside the front to find the correct spot.

I too get stains on my clothes and have bought discounted thrift store close because they had a stain on them. Ever since, " I got, Sal Suds", it has saved many stained items destined for the trash. I buy a jug and it last for a few years.
I’ve been really happy with the long-sleeved knit dresses I got last year, for the colder months. I like them body-skimming, not body-con tight, so I size up (some are fuller-skirted, too) and have several I love from H&M. These are my daily wear at home with long socks, or to go out, boots and a blazer or coat. I’ve never found pants that equal the comfort of a dress. My hot weather versions are made of cotton or viscose knit and sleeveless.

Make yourself a insert under collar instead of wearing a shirt under your dress and if you get a stain use "shout" to get it out.

These dresses are very simple and loose-fitting. If I were to wear these, I would definitely accessorIze.
Adding scarfs, collars and jewelry can change the dress or blouse to look for formal.

I truly cannot remember the last time I wore a dress. I wore dresses and suits and matching skirt and top outfits with all the adornments while I worked until they relaxed the dress codes then I went to slacks and nice tops. I think all of these are very cute on you and promoting modest dressing ideas is a great thing to do. I see young ladies out in public who really need to put more clothes on and young men who need to pull their pants up. Keep up the wonderful hauls. Tfs

Love the dresses even though I like to buy from small businesses and local businesses. Especially since Covid 19 they are suffering with people buying online. Love the fact that you are young but show that dressing modest can be beautiful.
I watched this video when it first came out but didnt buy any then. Just bought 2 dresses today and cant wait yayy! I feel you on the neckline most dresses these days require a slip and an undershirt, why they cant just make them that way to begin with is beyond me! Not sure if youve ever used them but cami secret used to make these snap on fake camis that are little trianges and i use them almost daily for different low cut dresses.

I agree with what you were saying about thrift hauls. I like going and buying things at thrift stores myself, but its useless to watch others on YT with their hauls because I can't get it if I like it. Comfort is key, but so is style. Dressing modestly is important to me. I think most people have a "uniform" they tend to wear. For me its black leggings and long tops, pretty much every day. tfs 🥰💐🌷🌵🌺🌞🏜️💗✝️🥰💐🌷🌵🌺🌞🏜️💗✝️

I also passionately HATE layering 😑 I avoid having to layer at all costs so finding a dress you don’t have to wear and entire outfit underneath to make it modest is an incredible find 🙌🏼 Thank you for taking the time to do this haul!! I have 2 suggestions in case your overalls dress gets a stain. First you could dye it all over with natural indigo. It will make it a little darker blue but will totally cover a stain. Second would be a cute flower patch to sew on if the stain isn't too big.
I loved this video!! I've been trying to branch out of my comfort zone and try some different styles and I loved most of these dresses! The only sad thing is, I'm from Canada, so it can be pricy and we definitely don't have as many options up here. But thanks so much for sharing! I would love to see a skirt haul as well!

Sew snaps on a pretty piece of wide lace to fill on the neckline, you could use one lace to fill in multiple necklines. For. Grease stains on clothing purchase cold pressed orange oil, the orange oil is an emulsifier, so when it washes out the grease stain goes with it most of the time, do it a second time it there is still that shadow of a stain. It makes laundry smell good also

Yes what I’m about to say is old fashioned but it works if you’re working in the kitchen you might want to try a bib style apron they have them on Amazon but I got a super cute one at Walmart that way the stains are on the apron if they don’t come out in the wash instead of on all your pretty clothes 😊
