My husband traveled for a living and left many Sunday afternoons. We had no children and at first I felt the same way. I then started doing a beauty night. Shower, hair wash, hair mask, facial, face mask, eye brows, crawl up in bed with computer, study a language and then just surf the web. A good movie at the end and lovely rest. I also told myself how blessed I was to have my garden, home, health and friends. Now going through breast cancer I know how lucky I have been and also thank God and pray.

Leonora, eat the biscuit, wear the dress etc etc. 6 months ago I was diagnosed with a very rare cancer for which there is no cure. My life turned upside down inside out. I am now on a trial that involves travelling into hospital twice a week. All of a sudden I can’t do any of the things I love to do. Travel is impossible and I’m too tired to even go out shopping. Just enjoy the things you love because when we think life is endless, you lose track of what really matters.
You know Leonora I would like to you to do a vlog on the vintage bags, jewellery and clothes that you've inherited or gifted from your Grandmother and your Mother. I would love to see all the items and any story behind each item !!!!

You should volunteer at an animal shelter. You can't feel lonely around all those sweet pups that are in desperate need of loving homes. Shelters are always in need of volunteers and it really fills your heart, soul and of course your time

Loved this video. You are a great cook Leonora! I know how you feel being alone. I've been alone since 2013 when my husband passed away and my son who was 46 passed away in 2017. I try to find ways to keep myself busy. I lost my job last November as it was outsourced. I can no longer work because I have issues with my spine. So, I guess that sums up my life which I try to make the best of. You are right when you say to smile at someone and wish them a good day! I try to do that all the time and it does make my day. We all have our days, and that's normal. Keep doing what you are doing. You are amazing, and you give me a good chuckle every time I watch your videos! 😀❤

My hubby works away in the week and I have dedicated pamper evenings, book evenings, you tube evenings , and friends get together evenings at least once a month . I love my own company and the cat and I stroll round our small garden watering the veg every evening . Weekends are so special and preciously guarded by us

They look like baby yellow squash…..that’s what we call them in the US. Steam them or grill them on a skewer, bake them in the oven with butter, bread crumbs and a bit of cheese….like an au gratin. Toss them with some pasta. Anxious to see the butter bean salad. Looks delicious.

Loved this video. You are a great cook Leonora! I know how you feel being alone. I've been alone since 2013 when my husband passed away and my son who was 46 passed away in 2017. I try to find ways to keep myself busy. I lost my job last November as it was outsourced. I can no longer work because I have issues with my spine. So, I guess that sums up my life which I try to make the best of. You are right when you say to smile at someone and wish them a good day! I try to do that all the time and it does make my day. We all have our days, and that's normal. Keep doing what you are doing. You are amazing, and you give me a good chuckle every time I watch your videos! 😀❤

My hubby works away in the week and I have dedicated pamper evenings, book evenings, you tube evenings , and friends get together evenings at least once a month . I love my own company and the cat and I stroll round our small garden watering the veg every evening . Weekends are so special and preciously guarded by us

They look like baby yellow squash…..that’s what we call them in the US. Steam them or grill them on a skewer, bake them in the oven with butter, bread crumbs and a bit of cheese….like an au gratin. Toss them with some pasta. Anxious to see the butter bean salad. Looks delicious.
