- My wife and her family blew up at me because I refused to let them name our son after her late brother; he was a loser who ruined the lives of everyone around him. Plus four updates.

The audacity of cheating and then yelling at the person you cheated on because they found out you cheated is WILD.
She will come back (In the next 5-10 years) begging for a relationship with her daughter.
She’ll also blame OP for “keeping her daughter from her”.
@@Mia-dt3gl
OP's reply: "You're the one who gave up your parental rights."
@@Steve_Raglan_aka_William_Afton "Because you force me to.", "Because I had no choice.", "Because I was sick and you wouldn't help me.", etc., etc.
For real,@@BW022
She will 100% guaranteed come crawling back once the relationship with her affair partner crashes and burns. She will try to weasel her way back by acting nice at first, then when that doesn't work the rage will follow, and the smear campaign will begin. She will send her friends and family on him, she will try to recruit OP's own family and their former mutual friends to do her bidding. Some will fall for her manipulation and will attack OP for breaking their family and denying his daughter her right to have a mother, and for being cruel, petty and spiteful over a small mistake, and telling him that he should forgive and that they can be a family again.
"Hey you're named after your uncle. He was a drug addict that abused your mother and her family, and stole from us to fuel his habit. I didn't want you to live with that, but your mom threatened to divorce me if I didn't comply. So have fun with that legacy." Great mom.
'Also she cheated on your dad and gave him herpes and terminated her rights' what a monster
As soon as the “op posting in r/infidelity” it confirmed my thoughts of her
I feel like she cheated and gave up custody because the baby surprised her and ended up being a girl so she couldn’t love her reincarnated brother fantasy through her child anymore.
Im named after my deceased uncle and my grandma acted like I was a reincarnation.
Im sorry to hear that dude :( You shouldnt be forced to live in the shadow of someone else
@@LinkTardis damn hope you are alright
Ex wife seems like she's following her dead brother's footsteps
Definitely empathize with OP for feeling bad for his daughter losing the relationship with her egg donor, but the silver lining is that she won't have someone in her life that does not want anything to do with her. Trust me that would have been so much more detrimental on her mental health.
You know Op's in-laws probably feel like they're the worst parents in the world. They raised two narcissist and if I were Op I would keep them at arms length.
Probably not. The defended their daughter's decision to naming the baby after their son. My might have the mentality of "my babies can did nothing wrong!" or "our daughter can change!". But who knows? Maybe they realized how shitty their parenting turned out to be. If I were them, I'd feel terrible.
I think he needs to be very vigilant so they dont try to spin this fairy tail about their daughter, creating this false expectations in that poor child's mind, but if they stay in their lane and are willing to be a positive presence on that childs life... The more the merrier.
Exactly my thought. With one son being an addict and the daughter being a cheater. That must be some parenting gone horribly wrong.
*Me listening to how the husband doesn't want to name his child a certain* Okey he has some valid points
*10 Secs later "My wife is cheating on me" HUH!?!?!?
The baby decided to solve the problem for them and just changed gender😂
P.s. So she was a cheater and gave the man an STI......yeah, glad OP got that divorce
This is definitely a combination of stories and very poorly edited. All of these pages are out here either making stuff up or mashing up existing stories.
@@bigdaddychompers9260 Different stories but same reddit user
HSV is an STD not an STI, that makes it even worse cuz STDs usually can’t be eliminated/cured like how STIs can
@bigdaddychompers9260 what 10 month old baby has a tablet on them
Acting like herpes is just nothing is delusional, she legit gave you something you’ll never ever get rid of and you could pass on to any future partner you have
I think he was just emotionally spent at that point. Had no more energy to be any angrier at the situation.
Pretty sure that isn't what he truly felt but it was the nail in the coffin and he just shut down. Or he could of not wanted to talk to much in depth about it because he felt vulnerable
I was kinda shook by most of this but the mother giving up rights to her daughter? WTF man, that's awful and I'm the most shook by that than anything else.
DNA test?
Plot twist the Daughter is not his but aps.
Op need to start working with a therapist to know the right way to broch the subject with his daughter once she starts asking. Also her parents need to be made clear that any conversation regarding the mother will be have only with him present and in no way making excuses for her behaviour (i know she distanced from her parents but who knows).
If it had been me i would have been super petty and mean and tell her "you are no better than your good for nothing brother" then again that would sour the relationship with her parents and that poor kid will need all the support she can.
What a trashy woman!
Personally, I wouldn't let her unless she was willing to pay seventeen years of child support up front. Sure, talk with a lawyer, but chances are you'd get the same custody outcome, plus a better financial one if you opposed it. You'd still get custody and can move away. She'd still not see the kid and you'd wrack up a thousand or so a month. You don't even have to collect it. Then in five years when she has a $60k bill, then seek termination of parental rights while she still owes you that money.
When he says she came back a completely different person, she's either followed her brothers footsteps or she just figured out he was grey rocking her and did it back to him
Seems like flawed character was a family trait not limited to her brother.
s1: always nice to see a relationship work past difficult challenges like this. Naming the baby is hard
s2: sounds like the wife felt baby trapped. Sad thing is she gave up on her best life, motherhood, at the time it took the most work and now gets to live an empty life of hedonism. That'll get old fast and now has no retreat as she gave away her parental rights
It is the same story..
@@80m58 and the son did the child just vanish from thin air? Its two separate stories
@@horizonreaper3738 It literally isn't. Nigga literally said it was an update

That is such a name my parents would name a baby girl.
I didn't finished the video but I want to hug OP
Prob not even his daughter but hes the only parent to the child that was most definitely prob not his
The wife was going to call the police over an argument over the name? What was she going to say? That should have been enough for a divorce right there.
Remember folks, never let red flags slide if you want a relationahip for life
guys like this are there only worst enemy .
Bet kid is not his
wow you lucky bastard . just let her go .
no way would i allow it .
Wait she gave him herpes 💀
thank god she is gone .
What happened to his son?
Two different stroies
Scans were incorrect because it was a girl
They thought they were having a boy ,ultrasound can get it wrong unless fork out for 3D ones

sorry, eleanor? in the 21st century? _really???_
Tf you talking about? Eleanor is a good name. Wtf you think he should name her? Deku? Kazuya? Some other weird name?
@@guerre7102 no??? that'd be dumb. it's just that eleanor feels like a really dated name compared to more modern-sounding stuff
also, before you get on me for that too, "modern" here does not mean those wackjob spellings like "cimberleigh" or whatever. that's also absurd.
@@amxterxsu138 elenor sounds lovely to me.. and im a 25 year old male, not a 75 year old male.. so i disagree xD

Second story I am sad for him and his daughter but you encouraging her to go on bachelorette party cruise and encouraging her to live life as if she was a single woman what exactly did you expect is going to happen?
Bro there the exact same story
Same story, the ultrasound got wrong
Stay single gentlemen. Mental trauma, divorce, herpes, child custody issues. It could happen to you, and you won’t know until it’s too late. Avoid women.
Of course there are risks to falling in love, getting married and starting a family but let’s not pretend like doing nothing and staying single for life also doesn’t come with its own set of risks.
Dude, at least proofread the tales you steal and spin. The titular son ends up being Elanour?
OP said they misgendered the baby and it came out to be a surprise baby girl at the end of update one. That's why it took them an extra week to decide on a name.
OP is u/throwawairs112.
I thought it was pretty obvious that the ultrasound was wrong.
