400km in a day - SF to Hopland & back!

This is a classic San Francisco Randonneurs (SFR) ride, the Hopland 400k!
The ride starts right by the Golden Gate Bridge, goes through Marin County into Occidental, then through Sonoma into Hopland. I met Vidas, Jeff, and Kaley, and we stayed together until the end!
Overall the route was great, hilly on the outbound part, and more flat on the return via Sonoma. It was great to have company, in particular on the flat returns at night.
When we hit Santa Rosa on the return, we decided to stop at Round Table pizza to sit down, warm up, and and get pizza! Probably not a record time ride, but it was quite nice to take a break before the rest of the climbing.
Staying with the group, the rest of the ride to the bridge was pretty fast even on tired legs. My knee was bothering me even more, but I was able to push through and get to the end!
