New here & that was fun. Btw, sometimes with thrifting, the struggle is real, lol! Don't be ashamed about how long you were there. I used to be a reseller & spent 4 hours at a vendors mall!
I love that you have an eye for Asian antiques because so do I! Definitely subscribing just because of that & I hope to see more Asian antiques in your videos! I feel like I would’ve gotten almost everything that you did in the video including the Squirtle & roller skates!! 😂
Wait...I just saw your screen name. That's Eeyore, like Winnie the Pooh's Eeyore, right? My husband got me an Eeyore last year for Christmas because I lose everything...we love Eeyore!
Asian vase is a modern copy of an antique "inlaid" celadon Korean vase! Magnet only works if it is brass plated steel, if it's brass plated white metal the magnet will not stick. Have been an appraiser of antiques, collectibles and art for over 50 years!
Just for future reference. Magnets only stick to another magnet 🧲 or iron and Nothing else. So the magnet test is only good to test things made with iron. I hope this helps.
So glad you found another impressive Goodwill. Sadly, the ones by me typically look similar to your last weeks video of bare shelves...although I've still found awesome things there, it's not as plentiful as other videos I've seen. 😊
I hit the thriftiquing jackpot yesterday. I went to a new store while on the way home from a trip. It had a ton of wood and brass that the owner got from an estate auction. I bought so much because the prices were great. Then I stopped at another little town and got a few things I've been looking for. I'm not a reseller just always on the hunt for decor and teapots.
@TinyFindsTreasures Tes, I wrote the comment before seeing the end of the video. Sorry to jump to conclusions that you didn't know about the translate feature of Google lens. I agree, Google lens is a super great tool. I look up everything before I buy it. I've been on ebay 26 years and thrifting and antiquing and selling for twice that time and am very knowledgeable about a lot of things thrifted but I still will think things have more value than they turn out to have and I am still surprised at the high value of some things I didn't expect to have so much value. I learn a lot every day and still have so much to learn. But it is my passion and I enjoy the process.
It's brass! I just realized I didn't talk about it in the haul. I didn't test it until this morning actually (life happens). Very excited for it and it's going to one of my best friend's houses, so I'm thrilled!
Your love for history shines through! My channel takes a similar journey into the past, featuring everything from antique cars to vintage house walk-throughs. -stop by anytime!🚗🏡
Bags for $2 dollars go to dollar tree for a dollar $1.25 and my dear old friend rip Joanne had a real brass one my sister got it and it was her mother in laws. So does my aunt so I will have her brass lamp when she passes.
So that was the only thing they didn’t have much of there…now that you mention it, I didn’t see any original art pieces I don’t think! BUT I have a feeling they’ll get more in as time goes on for sure.
My husband can vouch for me that I stayed up until 4:00am editing this video because I wanted you all to see it! Don't miss it! Early bedtime for me tonight...
Rollerskating is back in a big way !!!
That’s what I hear! She was thrilled!
Oh my, that looks like the cleanest Goidwill I've ever seen.
It really is, Mother! I’ll take you there!

@@chandanevans Yes, that makes sense! Thanks! 😊
Then how do they stick to fridges?
Isn't there something done with a magnet to find out if silver is real?
I really want to go! 🎁🛍🛒🎉✨️❤️😍

Take a picture of the paper you found I side the Korean celedon vase and use Google lens to translate it.
I did! I showed a screenshot of it during the haul at the end of the video 😊 Handy to have that feature for sure.
