3:48 The dresser behind the white 70s end table is gorgeous, bakealite handles? Celluloid? I'm more into MCM, clean lines for furniture. I did like a couple mirrors at Warehouse 55, and candlesticks. 14:34 The crow/Raven painting would have been a for sure purchase.
Yes agree! There were so many different styles to pick from and lots of beautiful furniture and decor! Also some unique pieces that I don’t normally see in my area! It was a treat for sure!🙂♥️
Morning, Michelle! I stop at the Thrift and Dollar frequently as it’s on my way home from work. The prices have certainly gone up the past few years. Warehouse 55 has great stuff but few bargains. Have you been to the antique stores in Sandwich, IL? They have better prices than the Aurora stores and have some great stuff including furniture.
Hi Michelle, I haven’t been to Sandwich in years… good to know! I thought the Aurora shops were great and Warehouse 55 was more antique than thrift but they were not price bad for an antique shop… so many cool things to see! Have a great weekend and thanks for the tip!🙂♥️
I agree Barb that was a really awesome shop! I thought the lion fireplace would look super cool if you had that moody academia library look going I could see it with bookcases, leather chairs and a French Inspired Chateau! 😉♥️
You have a nice bedroom with a king size bed, as far as lamps go, maybe going to a bigger scale wise of accessories would be suitable not small things. One big lamp next to a big piece of furniture gives a professional impact in visual balance. Same goes with the nightstand. An elongated nightstand to the length of the flower pictured hung above over with the night stand makes it balanced. Not your small scale round thick heavy black rim table with a small lamp. Just my 6 cents. I used to do furniture window display and know a few things about balance and scales to bring in a harmony feel.
Thank you for the advice and for sharing your knowledge, Chantel! It's always helpful to get other perspectives! I will definitely have to try the larger table idea! 🙂♥️
Did you see something you would have bought? What a fun day checking out new shops thanks for coming along!😉♥️💐
3:53 the French Provençal nightstand is cute. That’s a really large store.
Hi Trina, Yes agree, it was super cute and lots, lots of stuff at that store! Thanks for watching!🙂❤️

Warehouse 55 was my favorite place. Loved the fireplace mantel with the lions but I'm sure I couldn't afford it 😁
