I made this following your recipe and so delicious..I frosted in an ordered cake and the customer said it's one of the best frosting she ever had. Only, I resorted to crumb coating coz there wasn't enough to cover my 2 layer 9 inch cake..I'm going to double the recipe.Thanks so much for sharing your recipe.😊
This frosting turned out soooo delicious! I swear u can just eat it alone!!! For me…I don’t like too sweet so I omitted one cup less sugar. It was just as great! Thanks Carina😘
Delicious frosting to use asap if needed . That was my case. Used only 1 1/2 cups of confectioner sugar and was excellent. Filled a 3 layers chocolate cake with Dulce de leche so had to be careful with the rest of the cake to balance sweetness 😜 Also can add 1/4 cup more of Dutch pure cocoa powder with a 1/2 tsp of instant coffee powder if love to increase chocolate flavor.
I love cream cheese frostings! I have recently bought black cocoa and I baked 3 layers of chocolate cakes and they are in my freezer. I want to try this frosting because this looks so tempting but can you please tell me why my cream cheese frosting turns runny and becomes a soupy mess every single time? Some recipes ask to use room temperature butter and cold cream cheese. I stay in a hot country like India but I understand Mascarpone or Cream cheese frostings are supposedly more stable than whipped cream. TIA ☺️
