Sure miss my strain gauge and my dog box, but I don't miss the straight cut gears. Drove mine on the street clutching it or just chopping the throttle during normal driving and I never had a problem, you just gotta shift quick so you don't get the grind. Still got my shifter with the strain gauge installed, what EMS are y'all using?
My new car doesn't have a dog box, but that switch seems appealing for my regular gear box. How much would that cost too install? (Drive by wire) if that matters

I have a 2016 Z51 Corvette Supercharger 1000hp with A8 transmission but trans shifts slow , how can I make trans shift quicker
Short shifter linkage, sequential manual transmission, and a Quick Shifter system, like what a sportbike can have (ignition & fuel cut).
A sportbike has a dogbox. Short shifter linkage on a synchro box is only going to kill the synchros fasters, you wont shfit quicker

Could you use a dog box on the the street if you shifted fecking fast like at the strip ?
so for a synchronized manual transmission you would still have to press the clutch in?

What does a 2011 mustang GT need to do this? I cant seem to find anything for sale to cut timing while clutch is in or w.e. It has a hydraulic clutch. Tips or installation tutorials for specific modern cars would get a lot of views.

You can drive a dog box on the street without grinding gears you just have to rev match. Most manual trucks have dog boxes ie the Eaton fuller road ranger.
Drive all day long up and down the box with no grinding and not a syncro in sight.
What if you have no computer hook up to your transmission (old school) then what?

So pretty much a quick shifter makes your transmission "semi-sequential" since you only use the clutch for moving from a standstill.

Misho5z Your car is extremely popular when it comes to drag racing there will be tutorials and kits to be able to no lift shift your car.

For example, Us Honda guys don't have an option for an auto transmission. They are just too weak for drag racing.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to build a manually shifted automatic transmission? You shift manually without all the censors and BS.

4 Speed Auto: 1, 2, D(OD button off), D(overdrive button on).
5-6 Speed Auto - Shiftronic/Dual Clutch: Pull Down on lever = shift up. Push Up on lever = Shift down
Modern Auto - Shifttronic/Dual Clutch: Click right most steering paddle = Shift Up, Click Left most steering paddle = shift down.
auto's are much cheaper and more reliable but a manual will be faster
Auto's are generally more expensive and less reliable (At least stock trannys and aftermarket ones depending what you buy and build), but whatever shifts faster depends on the transmission and the driver.
This is just cheating
