  • An incredible blizzard buried the northern side of Colorado Springs on March 23rd, 2016, with snow accumulation ranging from 4-6 inches and drifts up to two feet. High winds and sideways blowing snow brought whiteout conditions and visibility to almost none at some points. The wind and freezing temps caused cold snow-covered roads to ice over and become treacherous to drive on, I myself got stuck, along with many other motorists, while I was filming this video. This was on Briargate Blvd, just west of N. Powers Blvd. Thankfully some good Samaritans pulled off and helped dig me out despite blistering cold winds and miserable conditions. As I drove no more than 10 minutes south, the roads were completely dry. Somehow it really only affected the north side of Colorado Springs.
