I prefer to call Witcher 3 Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine the “Witcher 3 Trilogy” since, lets face it - they’re really more like three whole games than simple DLCs
This is also used on a quest to free a lady cursed in a tree. I tried both outcomes and each result (won't spoil) is accompanied by this music. And thus this is how I end the Witcher 3, on a poignant note :/
I remember while playing the dlc, after the Mandragora, the original version of this played out as Anna was reminiscing about Syanna. I turned off all in-game sounds, etc. and stopped choosing dialouges so I could record the song. So beautiful and devastating. Then I ended up with the tragic ending for both sisters. As soon as the harp version started playing and Geralt said "And all this...what did it bring you?", I burst into tears. Very Hard. Pity this wasn't in the official soundtrack.
I know!! I really wish they had it because this song is a masterpiece, so much emotion and reading the comments of this video makes me glad I’m not the only one that loves/loved Geralt’s story, if only there would be a Witcher 4 in the making 😢 please CDPR

Just finished this DLC and legit cried when this music started playing. Why it had to end. CD-PR created a master piece. No one can capture all the emotions in a game like they did.
@@matty_daddy Or have us be able to create our own Witcher like pick which school of Witcher we are from like a Prequel back when there was more Witchers and showing how they were declining in numbers
People say it's the worst ending, but I think it's the best ending to show Witcher's universe. I was really love Anna Henrietta and get that ending and damn now i need a therapy

It's sad how in the end there is no happy ending... Even if you save both sisters you still need to kill detlaf. If You safe detlaf then you must let him kill Syanna. And none of them is a real villain.
@@es-rh8oo I think Syanna was sadly worse, she lead on and used a higher vampire out of all creatures knowing very well he's maladjusted, unstable and potentially crazy dangerous. He wasn't causing any trouble otherwise and like Regis said, was mostly keeping away from humans, even helping them at times. Literal definition of "fuck around and find out".
@@es-rh8ooI agree with the previous commenter. If you poke a wild animal and you get mauled then its not the animal's fault. Especially since in the witcher universe higher bampires are close to animals. Even Regis (just look at him at Dun Tyne).

Cdpr keep saying gerarlt story is over and I agree there's no better way to end his story but they can however continue it with Ciri

I think Detlaff was worse than Syanna. So I think the best ending is to save both sisters and kill him
