If your colour are spot colours in illustrator selected from the pantone swatches they should automatically come in to sep studio already named. I have sep studio 4 and it does in that.
Hello, I am writing to you from Lima-Peru, thanks for your knowledge, apart from that you are very pretty I hope you continue, I wish you much success...kisses...
I really love your channel my dad is a screen printer and is doing screen printing since 33 years we donot do on clothes but do it on other things i would really love if you share some other screen printing apart from clothing
How did you get your Sep Studio NXT to open a pdf file? I have tried and tried to use a pdf file but i get an error messages saying it can’t open the file type. 😢
Great content !Can you provide me some info about your printer ? What's the model you are currently using and any other suggestions about printers would be much appreciated . Thanks in advance.
This is amazing! Very helpful, my shop just started using this software. Question: We use a laser burner so I would not need to print out the physical separations. Is there a way to export the separations into an actual file to go to RIP.
Hey, I would ask Sep Studio directly but I would assume you would pick the driver for the LTS and can print from the software or if you save the job it becomes a PDF so I think it would be very similar.
@@LMB9888 You can also get the generated tif files if you use the Go To Folder menu option (~/Library/Application Support/BluironicTechnologies). This is assuming you are using Accurip. The tif files become available when you have it in the Accurip output window, before you officially hit print.
Thanks for the informative video. Is there a way to export it as a pdf so the film positives can be printed by a screen printing supply shop as I don’t have an inkjet printer myself? Thanks again.
Hey, I save the separations and I have tried opening them in Illustrator and printed them straight from there. I do also have Accurip though, I have researched that Sep Studio NXT also works with other RIP's though. If you wanted I could email you a PDF separation and you could try it with your film printer? Just email me - info@squeegeeandink.co.uk
The software will only do what you tell it to do, sometimes I will add stroke to the black to cover the other colours. I do it on a design-by-design basis but the great thing about the software is it gives a preview of what it would look like with the stroke you put on.... so you can try push it until it breaks
Hey, yes we run through that on our skillshare video about printing your own t-shirts www.skillshare.com/r/user/squeegeeandink?gr_tch_ref=on&gr_trp=on chapter 10 in particular

Very curious about how you were lining up your film on the platen and the screen to that.. not sure I understand your process there.
Love the video, question for you... can I use this software to make stencils on a Cricut cutting machine?
Awesome info. Tried to download the Seperation Studio NXT templates but your website keeps on telling me "Invalid download link".
Nice design. and congrats for the videos

how do you work with files larger than 10 inches
Im curious, you put the first colour on.....then how long to the next colour? doesnt it stick to the face of the next screen?
How did you know which blue to screen print. Would any blue close to the picture have worked?
Great content !Can you provide me some info about your printer ?

Do you add a 0.5 stroke to every color on every job? Does the software automatically choke the base b6 2 pixels? Thanks.

FOR THE SCREEN CHOICE DOES THE SEPARATION TELL YOU WHAT BEST SCREEN TO USE
Hey, No the software doesn't tell you what to use. Do you need some guidance on what to choose?
what's the difference between separation studio 4 vs separation nxt ??
Hey I don't actually know, I have only had the sep studio NXT
Hey Francesca, thanks for this one, super helpful. I was unaware of SPREAD in NXT. Were you using Wb or plastisol for this print?
Plastisol! The international coatings range. Call me Chessie… Francesca means I am in trouble 😂
@@squeegeeandink hah! ok Chessie.
Please how can I get the software
kindly, where did you source those hang tags + holographic sticker from??

Does Separation Studio NXT include Rip software? Can print without Rip? What kind of your inkjet printer?
Hey, th-cam.com/video/XyE-OlX2xAs/w-d-xo.html 9.14 your question appears here! thanks!
