    Great video . You have a really good expensive equipment for manual printing , your dryer looks great and new , the conditions of your screens look great . M&R is the best . I register different . Your print chop looks very neat . I like that way . Best luck camarade , Greetings from NYC

    Good Video Jessy. Impressed you moved on to Eco frames. I think you need to protect the mesh with a tape. Those eco frames tensions the mesh so much they sound like beating a rock! Good quality, makes printing easy on the wrist.

      Hey, Yes good idea - we will do a whole video on self tensioning screens really good and include things like protecting the mesh like you said!

    so if the design is centered on the platen, that implies that when you load the shirt, you do so in a way that the correct part of the shirt ends up smack dab in the middle of the platen. which, when you're considering doing a whole run of sizes from s-2xl or whatever, seems like it would be tough to know. is it just an eyeballing-it-from-experience thing, or what? also, how would you handle something like a small chest print on the front of a hoodie, for example?

    Hey, nice vid! Do you use some kind of special tape to block-out the registration marks? Or is it just a regular one?

      Hey! Hope you don’t mind but we used this question in one of our videos we are putting up next week! We use the white screen tape from Screenprint world but I go into more depth in our new video that I hope you enjoy - Printers Corner coming soon

    hello I am printing fabric on a kitchen table, so I need a way of registering that works when you have to move the fabric. Some designs are 2 colour, some 3 or 4 colour. I can do 8 screens on the table. Could you offer a zoom session?

    • @squeegeeandink
      @squeegeeandink  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! The best video I have for that type of thing which is similar is my video about printing with hinge clamps… skl.sh/3JjIcuG this is a free trial link. Otherwise I know that fabric printers tend to use a peg system on the table but you might not have room for that, so maybe flipping acetate film back and forth is the easiest option?

    Hello, I noticed in this video you are not using a white under base for the yellow and teal colors. Would you mind sharing what type ink you are using? Im assuming the ink you are using allows for the colors to be vibrant without the use of an under base on a black shirt.

    • @squeegeeandink
      @squeegeeandink  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, yes this is a pretty opaque ink. If it was a flouro colour for example - I would always put an underbase but if it is not needed, I don't do it. If I put down less ink I get a softer hand feel. :)

    I know that this video is old but why you dont do underbase under color? You print colors 2/3 Times? What time and temperature you use in your conveyor?

    • @squeegeeandink
      @squeegeeandink  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey the purpose was to show registration 🤓 I do know about underbase. I printed the colours twice. The dryer is 843 setting for about a minute, the important thing is that ink surface when in the dryer is 165 degrees
