Just found your channel, seen this video, and ordered one of these cables! Im I'm the UK, and my cheap Chinese AV to HDMI converter didn't display the AV output from my Mega Drive 1 very well at all, the screen was shifted to the right, a big green band down the left hand side, and the colours were completely messed up. I have the red white and yellow pins, plugged into a box like you have, then plugged in with a HDMI cable. My tv is picking it up but no picture from the mega drive itself, just a black screen. Do you think my megadrive is bust or do i need the RF cable instead
Hi there - will this work with my Sharp 26 Inch LCD Colour Television (LC-26SH330E) which is 720P HD Ready? I tried one of those Scart to HDMI boxes (which your video describes as cheap and nasty) and the picture with Sonic & Echo The Dolphin is all washed out and blocky, and nothing like it used to be with my Panasonic CRT TV (which I stupidly took to the dump). Please let me know. Many thanks.
@@rightspritegaming Ah ah that commercial! Well, I don't think your stuff can handle a very big TV set. OSSC power is to manage every monitor. Every resolution & pixel. My issue is probably about cord but I'm not sure... However, nice try! Love it!
No offence but it just doesn’t work, I got the Kaico one off Amazon & the pins were bent in the piece leading out of the adaptor, despite trying to carefully straighten them with tweezers it obviously didn’t work, I managed to get a green light on that however but no picture on to my BUSH flat screen tv & yes I made sure the micro USB was also plugged in, but no, nothing, trying desperately to get my Mega Drive 2 to work, tried the scart lead with coloured wires, the RF connector unit & now this & nope nothing, either this Kaeco kit is a full blown set of junk or my Mega Drive 2 which has just come out of storage has seen the end of its life & I need to get a new one, I just don’t know, looks like I’m stuck with the other pile of junk known only as the AT games Mega Drive console, I am feeling like I’ve achieved nothing & just wasted my time & hard earnt money.
@@rightspritegaming Ok the Keico one, I bought one off Amazon & the connectors are very stiff, plus the pins were bent inside the connector leading to the box with the aspect ratio switch on it, the seller is sending me replacement cables, but if that fails like before, how much is this level hike one please & where can I buy it please & is it a better buy than this Keico one? my apologies, just realised Keico one is not the one you reviewed.

Your tv is probably not asseecting the resolution output, or the cable duff
Mine does not come on screen I have a HDMI adapter plugged in and the TV just makes a load buzzing sound, anyone no what I can do

Does it work on Sega Mega Drive 1 French RGB Models "1600-09" or 1601-01? Have you tested it on these units?
Personal I have never tested that specific model, I can confirm the cable works on both model 1 and 2 pal and ntsc models

Yes level hike adaptor is a lot better then those cheap composite to hdmi, and as your tv assept 720p you will be fine

Are you referring to the kaico model , or to this level hike model??
