Got emotional during the ps3 & ps4 themes, ik the 4 isnt *that* old (a 10 year old console lol) but man what a wild time. Playing cod 4 & mw2 on my ps3 after school… booting up battlefield 4 for the 1st time to experience the “next gen” levelution effects, finally getting to play heists in gta online… just wild
I'm not sure if anyone ever thought about the theming behind the levels, but Memory Meadow for PlayStation & SSD Speedway for PlayStation 2 have got to be my favs since Memory Meadow has you go up to the heavens, the the fellow big video game company, Nintendo, has the heaven kanji on its name & Nintendo commonly means "leave luck to heaven" in Japan. Nintendo is the very reason the entire PlayStation history has happened. Without Nintendo, PlayStation wouldn't have existed. As for SSD Speedway, the whole cyber sci-fi theming feels so reminiscent of the era the PS2 came, where the 2000s's technology envisioned a cyberpunk futuristic design & PlayStation 2 is the very embodiment of that vision of the time period. Though even I can say the same for Cooling Springs for PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Portable & GPU Jungle for PlayStation 4 & PlayStation Vita. Cooling Springs represents the idea of a luxurious direction that the PlayStation 3 (you know they really mean it to be a luxurious console system when it was overpriced back in its release LOL) & PlayStation Portable went for. And for GPU Jungle, the area represents the games of PlayStation 4 & PlayStation Vita (too bad its done poorly for Vita, especially compared to PSP) being more adventerous & filled with more life in their worlds, which are now in a way bigger scale then previous generations. You can really sense the evolution of PlayStation in all of the levels.
Fun fact: the PlayStation 3s font is the same as Spider-Man 3 because Sony thought it would have great sales but kinda and that’s why is says with great power with a reference to Spider-Man 3 “with great power comes great responsibility” .;)
I got all of the playstations I got the PS 5 the Can I get the monitor and Headset and I got all of them I got all of the playstations and I was even all the party yesterday
Simply beat each level. Memory Gardens unlocks the PS1, SSD Speedway gives you the PS2, Coolant springs the PS3, GPU jungle nets you the PS4, and the finale will reward you with the PS5.
