The number of different builds that people think are "meta" makes me think it's actually quite balanced.

It's less about the quantity and more so the quality of the meta builds
Getting stun juggled by dual zims isn't fun and can almost feel impossible to fight back against if you don't build your AC right. Lamms that want to do nothing but kiss the skybox are also incredibly unfun to fight against if you don't have an AC built for chasing, the problem isn't that how many builds are meta viable it's that certain builds are unquestionably a coin flip that's decided in the garage screen, sure that's part of the game's identity but that doesn't make it feel any less awful when you see your opponent with a loadout you have no answers to

@theramenking7237 That's true. I've been mostly playing BVO builds or variations on them, as I find that style the most fun to play. Big damage tanktreds are my cryptonite.
I think we all forget the matches where the other player has no chance against us and remember the ones where we are the one with no chance.

Can the Basho arms really handle the recoil on dual Etsujin, or is it worth taking the accuracy hit for the 29% damage boost on cMoonlight?

It's the same principle as old BVO, since the Etsujins are burst fire the recoil has a chance to reset between bursts so it's never too out of control, and if you're managing your trigger finger well enough (I probably wasn't during this match) then you shouldn't have any recoil problems

@@theramenking7237 Gotcha, and the benefit you get for having to do some slight recoil management is that you get that juicy melee spec and the low EN load of Basho?

@@TheRationalPi Yup, the original build I think wants to be lighter and use the starter Pulse Blade, but I don't like being so close to my opponent in something so fragile thays why I've got Red Moonlight and a 10 cell to play mid-range, I don't have the same burst damage and I'm a but slower but I can play at a more comfy range
