The red shield doesn't help that much against Blind. You're GOING to get hit a couple times. The dang mirror shield wouldn't save you if you go in with five hearts.
The funniest thing is that I rewatched the charizard one you did earlier today and I was thinking I wanted more link to the past content and there it was.

7:25 You don't need Silver Arrows to beat a seed. It does make the final fight easier yes, but it's not required. You can just finish Ganon with master sword (at minimum) 😂
It is worth noting that silverless Ganon technically requires the use of glitches and is therefore out of logic. The logic in randomizer presumes silver arrows are required, even if most active runners know how to do silverless.
You don't need Silvers to defeat Ganon, though. Don't get me wrong: they're VERY nice, but decently-timed sword spins (several-frame window, very forgiving) will do the trick.
I love the spread of opinions on this. The LTTP community considers seven frames "pretty tight" and thus out of logic. The fighting game community thinks that's an eternity and a seven frame input window is essentially free because the rest of the game happens faster than that. I love you all.

i mean there is a setting in the randomizer generator that has easy item placement... and there is a very simple way to plan out the randomizer and place the items in the spots you want... not saying that's what he did but its very rare to get all of those drops that quickly without those potential methods. still a fan of the work that Linkus does though. great video and keep up the awesome work!

Ice Rod/Hammer combo makes magic jars drop very often, so it's very useful in Ice Dungeon.
That reward can get shuffled in the randomizer so while it's a solid strat in vanilla it's not always reliable in randomizer seeds

Sword level doesn't actually matter when fighting Blind, he always takes three hits per head no matter what.

Master Sword ganon is ass and I wouldn't wish it on anybody

Being able to hurt Ganon with the sword is a glitch and is only a five frame window. Logically, you do need silver arrows.
The game requires you to use the light arrows to kill Ganon. Any other way is a glitch.

Had a normal seed yesterday that started with all the sword upgrades available right off the bat.
Mine I started yesterday has been ok, but flippers and lanturn are still missing
