- Best crate digging pick up in 2021 - so far! Follow the process from crate to beat in this video. I picked up some amazing records recently that I wanted to show you guys. In the video I'm talking about these records and I make two beats (or loops rather) with the MPC live 2 using samples from these records, showing you why you should get these records.
This video is also the first one where I use my MPC Live 2, I'm still learning the workflow of the MPC - expect to see more of it in the future!

Fire! Can I just ask how you film yourself making the beats and capture the audio from the mpc as well as you talking? I was looking to do some beatmaking videos of my own. I have a cable that would capture the audio from the mpc but you wouldn’t be able to hear me talking
Sure! I have an external recorder connected to the MPC output to record the audio from that. To record myself speaking I have a mic connected to the camera so the camera is recording me talk, but I might change that as I have some noise issues with that sometimes (and I want to use a nicer sounding mic). How do you Quantize on the MPC
If you leave TC (timecorrect) on it should snap to the set grid 16th or 8th note and so on. Press TC button to enter the time correct settings. If TC was turned off while playing you can press TC button, choose the notes you want to correct or all notes. Press do it to make the notes snap to the grid. You can also add swing etc in TC if you want.
