Using moto G 1st generation phone since 2014. working perfectly fine till now without tempered glass and case. I was not aware that it has gorilla glass 3 protection.. love it.... NOW, I bought moto one power.. hope it's legacy continues...
@@honsengt after 100% battery it will last for 2 days with net usage and with standby mode it will last for 3 & ½ days!!!! Cause it's a beast and it has 5000 mah battery backup. So if you want to buy it go for it and it lasts more than asus ZenFone max pro 2 (cause my mom have that phone) and guess what moto wins by half a day or so it depends upon your usage.
I wish they would make this phone full waterproof. "Splash proof" is not enough if I want to use this for outdoor sports (hiking/biking etc.) where it rains or it might get dropped in water. But it's nice to see that it can sit in water for a while and not get destroyed. Thanks for testing it!

No bro. Even if it's a gorilla glass 3, Motorola won't compromise durability with looks. They won't give a 2.5D curved glass like all other phones. So if you have a curved glass, no matter if it's gorilla glass 5000, glass is glass and glass breaks. That's why Moto has a rim of body around the glass. Which absorbs the impact. My Moto g4 plus has survived with worst of worst falls without a tempered glass or a back cover.
All Moto phones are durable. I dropped my devices so many times. Never had any issue. Haven't visited any service center in years after using Moto phones. It works perfectly.
