Enjoyed the video, I am having problems with my Airmatic system my suspension only goes part way up, when I stop and the car left over night its sitting very low, I start the car and again it lift partway, I collected 6 bags of compost yesterday and amazingly the car lifted higher 65cm from road surface to the wheel arch, and it seemed to be a more comfortable drive because it was higher.
When you disconnected the white pipe was the air coming from the compressor or returning back from the rear air bags ,any ideas would be welcome. Regards Peter

Very clearly explained process and expertly demonstrated, thank you for such a high quality informative video.
Is it also always necessary to replace the air valve block?
I appreciate your professional insight and guidance

Good video! @4:27 count the # of turns from tool...That would be the turning radius when installing new compressor.

Very good video. I have 2011 R350 4matic. It is leaning down only on the passenger side in the front and rear. How to diagnose the problem and what to replace. Thanks for any helpful hint.

Have a shop pull up the fault codes first. I suspect the distribution valve is bad.

Do you have to calibrate the air system afterwards like you do for air bag change?

I have a w212 and the compressor is in the rear bumper. Is it the same process to test the compressor? And same for removal procedures?

I replaced the compressor and the fuse relay everything should work but I still don't get power to the compressor do you have any idea what that could be? Or does that have to do with the air valve block?

You did not show the fitting of the washers that go above the rubber mounts.

Thanks. Does all the air leak out of the shocks when you disconnect this? I presume not. I imagine there's some sort of check valve behind the reservoir? Not sure. I'll have to look into this further. I don't want to remove it for testing/repair, then find out I can't drive my car.
