The 3rd singer who say harmonized best with Regine is Aicelle Santos...For me she did the best showdown coz there were no flats nor sharps....she's got that low register but she hits the high notes as well on point👍😊

Julie Anne San Jose's voice is as clear as ice. Aicelle Santos stands out among the rest except for Songbird.

For Regine to hold a 2 night back to back concert, with different repertoires of difficult songs on each night at her age and being way out of her prime, is nothing short of amazing. Her legacy lives in all of these young singers. It will be a wonderful memory for all of them because that is a person they truly look up to and is near and dear to their hearts. Regine was smiling like a proud mama bear. She has carried the torch for so long, and has been an inspiration and an example of true professionalism and humility. It is now their turn to carry the torch and do her proud.
Angeline and Jona gave a Fantastic performance.Julie Ann San Jose and Mori gave a Honest performance.BUT Aicelle Santos JUST NAILED it and she gave a very solid performance among 5 of them.Ms Regine Velasquez-Alcacid 30'th anniversary Was so Epic and Great.And she schooled them all,she's the Queen.awwww #HugKnucklesTV I just Love watching you both Cuddling,listening and watching the video.

First up was Angeline Quinto, who was runner up to Sarah G. in the singing contest years ago that was hosted by Regine, and is a member of the Birit Queens. Her voice is the closest to a young Regine in terms of femininity. Probably the biggest Regine fan on the planet, she has in the past performed with her in concert. Second was Julie Anne San Jose who you know (she was under the weather here). She is a fellow artist on the TV network that Regine is in, GMA 7. Third with the lower voice is Aicelle Santos. Also known as the Traffic Diva and the Soul Flair Songstress and also on that network. In the past, she was a member of La Diva, a 3 member girl group, together with Jona. Fourth was Jona, another member of the Birit Queens (this night, her father passed away, unfortunately ). She used to be on GMA 7 but is now with rival network ABS-CBN. And fifth was Morissette, who, like Julie Anne, was also a little sick. All of them were heavily influenced by Songbird ... well, who wasn't? All amazing, and humble just as Regine is. And they all never ever ever lip sync, just like Regine. Real singers and not just studio artists who sing their hearts out for their fans and anyone who cares to listen.

It's because she does a segment called Traffic Diva in a popular noontime variety show, where she literally sings amidst traffic and also gets the vehicle drivers or passengers to sing as well for a chance to win a cash prize. XD

Jona used to compete in MTB a noontime variety show but lost. She competed again in a singing contest hosted by Regine Velasquez and won in 2006 or 2005. The rest is history. Aicelle also competed in ABSCBN's singing contest and finished as a runner-up but she later joined a contest in GMA and won.

I really like all the girls here,but that Julie Anne San Jose is such a refined and polished performer.She's soooo gorgeous!
Checked the Wikipedia after this performance and was really happy to know that Julie Anne,among the singers here (except for Regine) is the only one who is a recipient of a Diamond Record Award and has had a Quadruple Platinum Album Award.That's something that's really hard to beat among younger singers.

She will always be a QUEEN. I've watched her concert live! Her 30th anniversary. 2 nights sold out. I was at the 2nd night and yesss it was awesome!! Regine is and always soooo fantastic! Not only as a performer but as a genuine person. That's why all the younger singer looking up to her. Thank you guys.

Check out EAPfilm official vlogs..he flew all the way from UK to watch Regines concert and met his fans. He met Katrina, Morissette and bugoy. He also hang out with bugoy and even visit the Wish bus.
Those songs they sang were all covers of Regine that she popularized here in PH. BTW, the HD version of this has a much closer angle that you can see each performer's reactions when singinging with Regine... its the Viva Ent upload.
That low voice Sam loves is Aicelle Santos from other network together with JulieAnn. Aicelle is a very very good singer though do not have much exposure.. she's so underrated they say.

Totally agree - Acielle is classically trained and has done musicals and pop concerts in the Philippines so she has amazing range. Morisette is always faboulous and I wish she would get more credit but I agree how you infer that Regine is passing the torch to Morisette.

This is just a portion in the concert and there's so much EPIC moments in Regine's concert.

the official videos from viva ent has been set to private so we dont have access to different angles and close up. they were public 3 days ago.
The 2-day concert are 60% different.. So however watched the 2 days were super lucky... Epic concert weekend..

Beware of some sarah fans. They have a habit of claiming a lot of things and falling short of standard.
This particular prod earned a standing ovation and roaring response from the audience which the duet w/ sarah failed to duplicate. The bigwig of Viva tried to start a standing ovation but unlike this one where people automatically stood up, only 8-10 audience followed 😂 hardly a standing ovation performance.
Among the guests performers this is the only prod that REALLY EARNED A STANDING OVATION and they all deserved it. I dunno why Viva is hard selling the prod with sarah when this was in fact a more notable performance because theyre giving it all. #justsaying
Abc Music and viva ent deleted the video of this performance and leave only sarah g's videos like 3 or more videos of the same performance.
Actually Jona's dad died of stroke a few hours before that performance. Inspite of what happened she still went there to perform . My condolences to Jona and her family.
