  • My take on the 2.4GHz Getaria GWS-8 Wireless Guitar System. Great piece and a great buy. Best investment I ever made for my guitar.

    I currently have this system for my guitar and one of the connectors I guess died from low battery and the loudest and creepiest scream sounding frequency noise came out at basically as loud as the amp could go even when I tried to turn it down it would not stop until I turned it off completely. Other than being very creeped out twice, they are great lol

      Holy fucking shit!!! Will that happen when the battery dies? Pretty fucking scared to purchase this guitar wireless system. Lol. Got a 40 watt Peavey Vypyr. Kinda scared to plug this sucker into the amp, and my guitar. Kinda scared to use this especially late at night. Fuck, kinda nervous. Seriously, will this happen? Please tell me, it won't. My hands are shaking as I'm typing this.

      Yeah I thought of that after I posted the video. It’s real easy though. There are pairing buttons on each one and you just push them together until the light goes green.

    The instructions say you can transmit to up to 6 receivers, but I can’t figure out how to pair to more than one. Have you tried it? My plan is to transmit to my amp and to the house sound board so I can get rid of cables.

    Would you recommend this guitar system? I love this video. And your amp sounds awesome. Also, someone in this comment section said that the battery on her system died, and loud screaming from the amp was heard to the point where she had to shut the amp off. Will that happen to me if the battery on my wireless system dies? Kinda scared to purchase this model. Got a 40 watt peavey amp, and kinda scared to use this system with the amp late at night while my folks are asleep. Just tell me if this is true about the amplifier getting super loud when the battery dies on this system. Just need last minute feedback before I hit that buy button on amazon. I asked other people on youtube around about this model? Was thinking about getting the Getaria 5 GHZ model, but might wait a few months to get that one. Just need something that's $40 in the meantime. I don't mind shelling out $60 on the 5 GHZ model. But as for starters like me, I prefer the 2 GHZ model. Also, is the difference between the 2 GHZ and the 5 GHZ models, affect sound quality? And is the latency not visible as I play while using this device? Need something that has no latency. Feedback's much appreciated. Just wanted to express my concern about the loud screaming sound that's heard when the battery on this device dies cause someone in this comment section mentioned that issue when the battery on this wireless system dies.

    My husband and I just bought a set for each of our guitars...and would like to know how can you tell when they are fully charged? Do the lights go off, change color, etc?

    • @RickordProductions
      @RickordProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a good question. I believe when the light is red you know it’s not at it’s full charge but I forget if they turn blue, which I think they do but not sure. For these types of wireless units if I had a gig, I would charge them overnight the night before so the next day they’re fully charged.

      There is a little red light that turns on while it's charging. When it's fully charged the little red light goes out🙂

    • @RickordProductions
      @RickordProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. I'm sure they do. It's like any other device that you charge via USB. I mean I figure if you can still use your phone while charging it I don't see why you can't use this wireless system while charging them but then again it defeats the purpose of being wireless. Lol. Just charge them to full capacity the night before a gig.
