    I like the fact that by being different colors you can easily differentiate the transmitter and the receiver. Nice video.

      I agree. Some of them are so similar it makes that simple task difficult.

    This is nice. Very good to know that it feels 'immediate' - that would be my concern with a device like this. Seems very reasonably priced too. (Sorry that I'm just catching up a bit. For some reason I haven't been seeing you in my YT suggestions.)

      Good to hear from ya. Glad the review was helpful. It seems like a decent setup for the price.

    I haven't noticed your '63 Danelectro Bass before. I have the Baritone version in gold.

      I've had that baby for quite some time. It's a great little bass. Thanks for checking out the vid.

    Great video, please go get a mini blackhorn case locking knife and a accusharp sharpener. cheap and it holds a great edge for box opening.

    My friend gave me a few sets of these. For me the latency and poor audio quality was immediately apparent. However, it does the job if you just want to noodle while walking around your kitchen. But if you care about sound quality (and have the ear for it) you probably won't like these. I now understand why my friend gave them to me- I'm now trying to find someone else to give them to 😆

      Ironically, I ended up giving mine away too. I'm not really a fan of these budget wireless systems. I don't really understand what's so wrong with a guitar cable that it warrants having 2 more batteries to deal with. I'd rather just use a tried and true cable. These wireless systems are quite popular though. I know a lot of folks who swear by them. Ours is not a pervasive opinion apparently. Thanks for checking out the vid.

      These wireless guitar systems are a bargain! Glad to see you demoing one Kale. It sounded great. I purchased a Swiff Audio WS-50 Blackwing earlier this year for around $50; money well spent. Mine only has one button on each unit. Super easy to use and sounds just fine to my ears. Not using cables any more.

    So I guess if you want to use pedals, you plug the transmitter into the last pedal in the chain? Sounds good, no lag apparent. Thanks.

    • @musicalmiscellany
      @musicalmiscellany  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would work, but I'd actually recommend doing it the opposite way. If you used the wireless from guitar to the first pedal in the chain, you could move about freely with the guitar. If you did it the way you suggest, the amp could move about freely but the guitar will be tethered to the pedalboard by the cable. That might be what you're looking for though... it just depends on the situation.

    update to my prior post on the Getaria gws 8, after 3 months i unpacked my stuff, took the devices and tried to charge them up, both failed to charge , so i unplugged and checked the switches. the transmitter device switch is inoperable and has a bad contact, tried to to use the email provided to sent a email. its a daemon email which means non existent, I would steer clear of this device, If its defective you are done. simple as that. Made in China btw.

      That's really disheartening. We all understand that electronic gadgets fail from time to time, but it's the company's support after the sale that makes for a good relationship. I don't know much about Getaria but it sounds like you had a really bad experience.

    Nice video. A question can I use them with another guy withe the same product or do they conflict?

    • @musicalmiscellany
      @musicalmiscellany  ปีที่แล้ว

      that's an excellent question and I guess I should've talked about that. Some of these units have multiple channels (this one does) so if there are two people using them, they just need to be sure they're on diff channels. Some of the lower priced models don't have multiple channels so those would conflict.

    What happens when you accidentally leave it on

    • @musicalmiscellany

      Thanks for checking out the video. If you forget to turn it off, the unit will stay on until the battery dies. I'm pretty sure that's how all of these work because imagine what would happen if you had a long rest during a show (or maybe you changed guitars), then you went to start playing again and the unit had turned off due to inactivity.
