I didn't get a chance to test because my essence never got that high, but it should be every other, i.e. Cast 1, Cast 2 Overpowers, Cast 3, Cast 4 Overpowers, etc.
@@EurodanceSnob okay thanks. The description of the unique doesn't say it clearly. According to the description, after spending 275 resource, the next core skill overpowers. So it sounds like it doesn't matter whether the hit that spends 275 resource overpowers, the next hit should overpower regardless.
@@kingpig8978 According to the logic of the live server when using bone spear, the hit that overpowers also counts towards the essence meter, so I also expect the answer to be every cast.
Enhanced Bone Spirit (the second node) reduces the cooldown of Bone Spirit by 7 seconds on hit if the hit is a critical hit. With enough cooldown reduction, it is possible to reduce Bone Spirit's cooldown from 12 seconds to 7 seconds. If you maintain 100% crit chance through various means, that will allow Bone Spirit, now with a < 7 second cooldown, to reset the cooldown every time it hits, allowing it to be spammed indefinitely. @@verroxl3967 CD can roll on all helms, not just Harlequin Crest. Other than that, it can roll on amulet and focuses. There is also a Bone Spirit cooldown temper added in season 4.
@@verroxl3967 For this version, I don't think so without some sacrifices, because you need the focus to hit the necessary cooldown breakpoint. You could technically do so with the bone spirit cooldown tempering, but that sacrifices an important temper. I need to test more to give a better answer. Other versions of bone spirit, yes. You can hit the necessary cooldown caps on amulet.

Either one-handed sword or scythe works fine. It's up to preference.

If you spend 275+ essence every cast, do you trigger overpower every cast after the first one, or do you overpower every other cast?

It's bound to left click, which was rebound to tilde (~).

This is more of a proof of concept. In any case, monster damage doesn't increase between tier 100 and 200, only HP.
