Angel and Pepe are treasures for all time. Angels sing and tears fall from heaven when their fingers touch the strings.

Angel has done things beyond comprehension. He once told me this story. He had finished a concert (I think it was in Chicago). The next day he was scheduled to debut a new piece in Spain. When he got on the plane to Spain, he opened the new manuscript...for the first time. On the plane he learned the entire piece, the hand positions, the entrances and exits of every instrument. He essentially memorized a long piece without touching his guitar. Around 10 am he arrived at the concert hall, where he played the new piece for the first time. 3 hours later he and the orchestra played the new piece. I cannot comprehend that.

he is the professional musician and I am sure other musicians able to do the same things as Angel if they are complete musicians and not just guitarist.

@@lawcch no, that's a genius thing and Angel in my opinion is one of the best guitarists, too much underrated.

Arrogant? how? he seems very humble to me and he is very funny. You can't say he is arrogant because he is without doubt one of the best guitarists of the planet

The was a little story on page six of the NY Post the day after Segovia died: God tells saint Peter to call all the mucisians to a meeting, Once they were all there and Peter asked what was the meeting for? God dismissed all of them because Segovia had arrived and he did not need anybody else.

  • @userAA

It's really unpleasant how he tries to promote himself & Pepe, both are highly overated, thanks to their CONNECTIONS not the skills, the musicality & musicianship that they don't have...

I really think comments like this are unjustified on line. Whatever your opinion I
personally think your comment is rather unpleasant and very unfair. If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say it please! These two gentlemen are of a certain age now and have given pleasure to many many people with their music, whatever you may say, and this is what counts!
