I mean technically yes but the story and animations wouldn't really work to well. Like the puppet, what would they do? Foxy is the only one with something with a weapon like thing. But he would probably function like the blight. Being slower but can run, sometimes. Purple guy isn't Purple. He would probably just have a knife and yeah maybe cameras. I would like a couple of cosmetics. That could work, for survivors but none of the oc characters really work with the animatronics. Maybe like a Trapper outfit that's an oc of the springtrap suit but that's about it.

When Dawko talked about "Scott being open to work with other companies" he was referring to the fact that Help Wanted and Special delivery were made with other companies (SteelWool Studios and Illumix)

@@atmodlee I mean, it's a yes and no on that part. Scott doesnt want characters or certain voices to be used outside of the FNaF canon because he sees it as canon. Essentially, anything FNaF related produced from companies that carry the FNaF license, is canon within the FNaF universe. Meaning anything that DBD devs would do to any character that would enter the fog, would be canon in FNaF too. There is a reason why you never have been able to play as an animatronic. The only way anything FNaF would enter the fog is if that character were 100% confirmed dead, and the only way something would enter the fog as a killer, is if their intent was evil. This rules out 99.9% of the characters. William Afton, even as Springtrap, is stuck forever in purgatory, all animatronics have been confirmed to be programmed by Afton, and thus didnt have any malicious intent on their own(or very minor intent at best). Glitchtrap is still alive and well, and technically could be entering the fog right now, but Scott obviously wants the story to go in a direction where Glitchtrap gets destroyed and any part staying alive would mean it can copy itself onto others. So, even if Scott would love to collaborate with BHVR and add FNaF to the fog, who would it be without contradicting DBD's or FNaF's lore? All other killers in the fog have been confirmed dead in their own universe, so who in FNaF is confirmed to be dead, not stuck in purgatory, actually had malicious intent on their own and who's very existance doesnt threaten the future of FNaF? I cant think of any character that fits that. Best case scenario, Vanessa could be, but evidence points to her being brainwashed.
@@Predated2 In a reddit post made at the beginning of the year, Scott went out of his way to say that he's not doing crossover content at the moment due to him being busy with tons of projects this year. His own game, Security Breach, and the Movie to name a few. Maybe after this all wraps up we could see a crossover. However he did not disprove it happening at all, just not now.
At first I thought it wouldn't fit, but yeah it would be pretty terrifying being chased by a Springtrap. It's way more refreshing to see popular killers come into the game.

yeah, as others have said I definitely think the security breach mall would work well as a map. though, it would have to be one specific section of it, given the size of the mall. perhaps the main lobby, or that underground section will work. I guess we will have to wait for the game to release to get a good idea of what would work

Scott’s sort of been holding back on his trolls in recent years. Especially since the current FNaF fandom is so rabid for Security Breach news and keep hyping up events out of nothing, I fully believe Scott’s trying to be more sincere just so that he doesn’t get people’s hopes up by accident. I do think Springtrap will come to DbD eventually. Scott’s more open to collaboration with people and he loves his fans. So I think the earliest we get a Springtrap paragraph is late 2022 or early 2023 (I want it to release 2023 because that’s theoretically when FNaF 3 takes place assuming FNaF 1 takes place in 1993 as Matpat suggests.)

Springtrap would simply be a perfect addition to the roster. He has one of the best designs of any horror villain in my opinion. The mangled, undead corpse of a serial killer trapped forever inside of the suit he used to gain children's trust with, while the rotten smile of the suit contrasts the still visible agony on the speared-open skull underneath? That's just plain awesome. Honestly the only reason why this crossover hasn't happened yet as far as i can tell is that Scott is simply very busy with the Fazbear Frights novels, the movie (that finally entered production) and of course Security Breach, the largest and most anticipated game in the series so far.
The other part is that when a new Killer is introduced, they are usually accompanied by at least 1 Survivor. Unless it's one from something like Security Breach, it's gonna be very difficult to have a Survivor come with him. That can be a heavily influencing reason for why it hasn't started. And I wouldn't blame them, we almost never see a character's face at all. To even see one in Security Breach is a change that I believe few saw coming themselves.

I’d love this chapter. Springtrap is a character with a very interesting backstory, and a corpse trapped in an animatronic with a history of messing with remnant and killing children would be very different and would have a refreshing influence on the game.

This feels like something that is more of a "when" over "if". Springtrap is so desired and Scott only has to agree, and DBD's been shown to be very eager and easy to work with for licenses. Not getting a killer like Springtrap to stand side by side with Freddy Krueger and Ghostface would be a misstep.
They have been very consistent in adding license chapters from their classic era. Silent hill 1-3, Resident evil 1-3, Halloween 1, you get the point. Adding someone like Vanny would be pretty disappointing. She doesn't represent the original era of fnaf unlike her predecessor. Shes the new age. Probably one of the reasons why they didn't choose Lady D over Mr Nemesis.

Definitely interesting I’m sure once the new solo game has come out and things with the movie are settled there will be a crossover but given how hands on and frontline Scott likes to be with the franchise he definitely would want to make sure that everything is the best it can possibly be from a narrative type perspective.

Man as an og fnaf I remember when in the first fnaf we discovered the children possessing the animatronics from the missing reports easter eggs in the cameras of the walls next to our office. The Purple Man Concept Power: Springtrap cannot chase as well, he is punished harder for being stunned by pallets, flashlights ect. Once he downs a survivor and hooks them, he can extract their remnant, and insert it into 1 of 4 animatronics around the map. Freddy, Bonny, Chica, or Foxy. After injecting remnant into each one, he can switch between them, however Springtrap is vulnerable while he controls his animatronics. If a survivor gets close enough to Springtrap while he is controlling other animatronics, they can sabotage him, stunning him and all of his animatronics for a decent amount of time. The animatronics break pallets faster, vault windows faster, and break walls faster, however they cannot pick up survivors. Each animatronic has a power, Freddy having the doctors basic shock, Bonnie having ghostface’s night shroud, chica having demogorgons shred, and foxy having Billy’s sprint. The perks are assuming they are yellow perks. Perks: I Always Come Back: After being pallet stunned 3 times, you immediately gain one tier of bloodlust. Put You Back Together: After you hook the obsession, all other survivors suffer from the exposed status effect until the obsession is rescued. If you are within a 16 meter radius of the hooked obsession, the perk temporarily deactivates. Hex: Fun and faith: When a survivor is working on a generator, cleansing a totem, opening a chest, unhooking a survivor, healing a survivor, opening the exit gate, or is on the hook, they suffer from the oblivious status effect. Edit: I think some rearranged version of The Toreador’s March (Freddy’s lullaby) could make rlly good terror radius and chase music!

can i propose 2 possible powers? 1. Fazbear Frights: a power that can be used once every 30 seconds, it allows the Attraction to let out a frightful shriek that will stun every survivor that is in a certain radius in front of him 2. Night Shift: this power would be unique since this kind of mechanic has never been used, the completion of generator now corrisponds to the passing of hours (1 gen- 1 hour) starting from 0:00 to 5:00 AM. The Attraction would be given a small buff for every hour that passed

@@michellekoopmann8917 They might not add one, like with Bill, he got added with no killer, maybe they'll add FNAF themed cosmetics, but they can't really do a survivor since we never see one face-to-face, except for possibly Vanessa from Secuirity Breach, but she looks more cartoony and having 1 cartoony character with realistic looking characters would be dumb. So probably just skins, like a Freddy Fazbear shirt or something.

Think of a design for Mike in his head, draw it or write down any notable characteristics(Night-guard attire or even his zombie form) hand it over to BHVR so they can model it, and they're set to go. But its completely up to him if he wants to do that or if he wants to keep him a mystery. (Even though the character has been missing in action for almost 4 years.)

Honestly the Fnaf chapter is my #1 most wanted chapter right next to Resident Evil and we are getting that! So now Fnaf is my most wanted chapter, I don’t care what anyone said about Fnaf appealing to children more, as someone who has play all the Fnaf games the Fnaf killer would bring a unique play style to DBD and the Fnaf chapter would amazing for DBD 6th anniversary next year
Also the people saying it appeals more to children, and the 7 year olds who love the games, don't know about the lore. My dads who don't like FNaF were really surprised to find out about the child murders for example. I was telling them about the lore and they had genuinly never heard it before and only knew about the Bite of 87 in regards to lore (which I'm not sure if it was retconned into the Bite of 83 or they both happened tbh)
As a major fnaf fan Sarah Robinson saying friday night at freddys is hilarious. But she was really quick to answering that question and that really makes me happy that she wants it in the game as bad as we do lol.
Having Henry or Mike as the survivor would be really fucking pog if Springtrap is the killer. But if the collab between DBD and FNAF is around the time Security Breach comes out, there is a chance that Vanny would be the killer, which would be dissapointing.
Scott Cawthon developed and published FNAF 1 through Ultimate Custom Night all by himself. It was only in 2019 when he let Steel Wool Studios develop and Lionsgate Games publish FNAF Help Wanted. That's why Dawko was talking about Scott opening up to other companies...
3:23 actually, he started sharing the franchise in 2019. Before then, Scott made and published the games all by himself, and it wasn't until after he finished the original story was he willing to let other companies start to work with it, which is how was recruited Steele Wool recruited and made FNAF: Help Wanted and Security Breach.
I definitely think a Fnaf chapter will be more possible after the movie. There are no human models for characters besides any in Security Breach. Also some corrections, between fnaf 4 and sister location there was fnaf world, but that is technically listed as a spin off so I'm assuming that you left it out unintentionally, along with Freddy in space, which was a charity game (and also Fury's rage, a game Scott made in response to security breach being delayed). Scott Cawthon was independent for the first 4 games and didn't work with Steel wool until help wanted and security breach. But thank you for being accurate and respectful, and using pictures of models that look accurate.
Things have changed and I think now it’s more likely then ever to happen... maybe... Since all the drama that has happened with Scott and him now leaving the development of FNAF this crossover is more likely to happen depending who takes over for Scott. I’m really excited and hoping the new developer(s) think about this crossover :)
The odds of a fnaf chapter coming to DBD this year is actually surprisingly high. We know behavior plans everything a year in advance and the springtrap hype really hit its peak in July-September so seeing a fnaf chapter in September is pretty likely, and since fnaf is turning 7 years old in august we could potentially see a reveal if a fnaf chapter was in the works.

I'd love for this liscence to be in DbD simply because there is so much they can use to make a completely unique killer. Nemesis is cool, balanced and fun but he feels the most derivative. With FNAF you could implement cameras, vents powers and even other animatronics thanks to the new AI. If he were to be added I'd like to see a combination of all the suggestions to create a killer that plays super strategically to avoid chases.

@@forgottenvale667 they can use phantoms, like this new perk on survivor allows it to put a bomb (or something similar) to the generator to blind the killer, so my take would be, when a skill check about to appear, survivor would receive a jumspcare from a phantom animtronic (Or If they keep doing gen taps too much)
I respect the hell out of Scott, and the direction fnaf has gone individually, but I think he should start to take some chances and Colab more so the concept of just fnaf doesn’t get boring, not saying it will just in case. You have to make some changes somewhere alone the line.
this is the one I’ve been waiting for! thanks for covering it! taking all of the information about fnaf/scott I know, and the information you gave here, here's what I think... -some people speculate that a Candyman chapter has been in the works for a while, but is being postponed due to the Candyman movie's postponement. I think it's interesting that Cawthon specifically said "this year", when saying there are no crossovers... -due to the postponement of Security Breach, maybe a similar thing is going on. remember, behavior said no more paragraph chapters, meaning we at least get a killer and a survivor for every chapter here on out. we're yet to see a human character in fnaf, but that will change with security breach. additionally, the FNaF movie comes out next year, which is live action to my knowledge. the perfect opportunity to release a chapter of FNaF; just in time to promote the movie. I honestly do believe that the devs for DBD have been in talks about FNaF for a while. given that Scott is an independent developer, and not a huge company like other license holders, he'd be great to collaborate with, and really, i'm sure when scott's ready, we'll see a FNaF chapter, especially since he knows the fans have wanted it for a while.

It's always awesome when people go on deep dives to licenses like this! :D By the way, as some others pointed out, I think Scott might just be pulling a classic Scott and he and BHVR might be secretly in the background works. Especially because of two reasons. The first is being the obvious reference to Springtrap in the tomes with the whole "Spring the Trap" challenge and well, Scott has already went back on his word about "no collabs this year" with Dawko having a crossover with FNAF with his new brand, that being Hex.
Just would like to share this concept for scp 049 as a killer name the plague doctor Gameplay two zombies dressed as class d would appear in the map ability: the cure 049 goes into a trance like state to “cure the pestilence” walking faster than most killers and almost faster than survivors Perks: Perk 1 infection has a small chance of giving a survivor temporary bleeding effects Perk 2 anomaly Survivors will have a chance of being dizzy after coming into contact with the anomaly Perk 3 restless 049 wants to cure the survivors so badly that he has a chance of getting a speed boost when chasing Side features 049 can vault windows and can reset pallets
Keep in mind we'll likely have an ideal survivor WITH a face by Year 6. The FNaF movie is currently in production with Blumhouse, and features Mike as its primary protagonist. (The protagonist from the original game, and the son of the serial killer who became Springtrap) They can just use the actor's likeness or do something similar to Laurie, Quentin, or Tapp (Hopefully not goblin style.) On another note, I'd very much want Charlie from the books as a legendary for any of the survivors. It'd just be cool since I imagine Springtrap and Michael would be based on their movie counterparts. Depending on how similar to the original games the movie feels-- it might be a good idea to toss an ensured nostalgia bone to the old fans. You never know how well a movie adaptation will go, and as much as I trust Blumhouse it's always a concern with these things.
I feel like a Marionette survivor or... wait for it, Happy Frog survior would be fun. Considering like half of the human characters are dead and possessing animatronics, a non-human survivir would be interesring.

recently, after some people on twitter figured out scott was a conservative, shortly after they doxxed him. This made him announce his retirement because of all of the death threats being sent towards him and his family. We may not get Security Breach, and i highly doubt we will get any DbD collab. this pains me to talk about as scott is one of my favorite creators, but this is the truth.
He will continue to work on security breach and the movie after that he will give the series to someone trustworthy,and I'm pretty sure he will still help with the games story just not its production

Okay let's just say this firstly. Scott clearly doesn't want really want big collabs with really any games. At least not now. If we were going to get it, it would after fnaf's last game. And that's not happening for awhile. Dbd and it's community does want it to happen. That part is very clear, so in the end if Scott does it a lot of people will like it more people would know fnaf and it's series. But again it seems as if it'll only happen when Scott wants to but mainly because the games are already doing good. He cares a lot about his community and work but he just has bigger plans to take his series in the direction he wants to. If does happen I'm happy if doesn't well that's fine. To me springtrap or ennard would fit best. There both main characters technically. Springtrap being the killer behind almost all the story line murders and ennard being part of baby and also making Michael immortal.

Don't worry, many people know fnaf world is awesome. It was just really buggy when it first released, and he may have intentionally left it out because it's listed as a spinoff.

I can see this happening but like, they would need a lot of Scott help to figure out how to make Springtrap attack, run, and probably all the animations cause it's not something he does in fnaf3. Do we HAVE to use characters from the horror genre? I don't know if you've gotten this one, but I've always wanted something from The Running Man. A 1987 film featuring Arnold Swarzenegger. His character, Ben Richards, is thrown into a gameshow arena to survive professional killers. Lots of killers from that movie - Fireball, Buzzsaw, Dynamo, and Subzero. And of course, Ben Richards, as a survivor. I've been playing DBD since the earliest days and it's always reminded me of The Running Man.
I think the negative stigma with Fnaf is because its a very PG 13 kinda horror. I think Fnaf Is a great entry to horror for people and I think that's important.
I do think it would be a great collab personally. Also, Scott does seem like the type of person to allow it. I mean look at all the FNAF Fan Games he allows, and some that he even supports!

I mean technically yes but the story and animations wouldn't really work to well. Like the puppet, what would they do? Foxy is the only one with something with a weapon like thing. But he would probably function like the blight. Being slower but can run, sometimes. Purple guy isn't Purple. He would probably just have a knife and yeah maybe cameras. I would like a couple of cosmetics. That could work, for survivors but none of the oc characters really work with the animatronics. Maybe like a Trapper outfit that's an oc of the springtrap suit but that's about it.

@@atmodlee I mean, it's a yes and no on that part. Scott doesnt want characters or certain voices to be used outside of the FNaF canon because he sees it as canon. Essentially, anything FNaF related produced from companies that carry the FNaF license, is canon within the FNaF universe.
Meaning anything that DBD devs would do to any character that would enter the fog, would be canon in FNaF too. There is a reason why you never have been able to play as an animatronic.
The only way anything FNaF would enter the fog is if that character were 100% confirmed dead, and the only way something would enter the fog as a killer, is if their intent was evil. This rules out 99.9% of the characters. William Afton, even as Springtrap, is stuck forever in purgatory, all animatronics have been confirmed to be programmed by Afton, and thus didnt have any malicious intent on their own(or very minor intent at best). Glitchtrap is still alive and well, and technically could be entering the fog right now, but Scott obviously wants the story to go in a direction where Glitchtrap gets destroyed and any part staying alive would mean it can copy itself onto others.
So, even if Scott would love to collaborate with BHVR and add FNaF to the fog, who would it be without contradicting DBD's or FNaF's lore? All other killers in the fog have been confirmed dead in their own universe, so who in FNaF is confirmed to be dead, not stuck in purgatory, actually had malicious intent on their own and who's very existance doesnt threaten the future of FNaF?
I cant think of any character that fits that. Best case scenario, Vanessa could be, but evidence points to her being brainwashed.
@@Predated2 In a reddit post made at the beginning of the year, Scott went out of his way to say that he's not doing crossover content at the moment due to him being busy with tons of projects this year. His own game, Security Breach, and the Movie to name a few. Maybe after this all wraps up we could see a crossover. However he did not disprove it happening at all, just not now.

Scott’s sort of been holding back on his trolls in recent years. Especially since the current FNaF fandom is so rabid for Security Breach news and keep hyping up events out of nothing, I fully believe Scott’s trying to be more sincere just so that he doesn’t get people’s hopes up by accident.
I do think Springtrap will come to DbD eventually. Scott’s more open to collaboration with people and he loves his fans. So I think the earliest we get a Springtrap paragraph is late 2022 or early 2023 (I want it to release 2023 because that’s theoretically when FNaF 3 takes place assuming FNaF 1 takes place in 1993 as Matpat suggests.)

Springtrap would simply be a perfect addition to the roster. He has one of the best designs of any horror villain in my opinion. The mangled, undead corpse of a serial killer trapped forever inside of the suit he used to gain children's trust with, while the rotten smile of the suit contrasts the still visible agony on the speared-open skull underneath? That's just plain awesome.
Honestly the only reason why this crossover hasn't happened yet as far as i can tell is that Scott is simply very busy with the Fazbear Frights novels, the movie (that finally entered production) and of course Security Breach, the largest and most anticipated game in the series so far.

The other part is that when a new Killer is introduced, they are usually accompanied by at least 1 Survivor. Unless it's one from something like Security Breach, it's gonna be very difficult to have a Survivor come with him. That can be a heavily influencing reason for why it hasn't started. And I wouldn't blame them, we almost never see a character's face at all. To even see one in Security Breach is a change that I believe few saw coming themselves.

I’d love this chapter. Springtrap is a character with a very interesting backstory, and a corpse trapped in an animatronic with a history of messing with remnant and killing children would be very different and would have a refreshing influence on the game.

This feels like something that is more of a "when" over "if". Springtrap is so desired and Scott only has to agree, and DBD's been shown to be very eager and easy to work with for licenses. Not getting a killer like Springtrap to stand side by side with Freddy Krueger and Ghostface would be a misstep.
They have been very consistent in adding license chapters from their classic era. Silent hill 1-3, Resident evil 1-3, Halloween 1, you get the point. Adding someone like Vanny would be pretty disappointing. She doesn't represent the original era of fnaf unlike her predecessor. Shes the new age. Probably one of the reasons why they didn't choose Lady D over Mr Nemesis.

Definitely interesting I’m sure once the new solo game has come out and things with the movie are settled there will be a crossover but given how hands on and frontline Scott likes to be with the franchise he definitely would want to make sure that everything is the best it can possibly be from a narrative type perspective.

The Purple Man Concept
Power:
Springtrap cannot chase as well, he is punished harder for being stunned by pallets, flashlights ect. Once he downs a survivor and hooks them, he can extract their remnant, and insert it into 1 of 4 animatronics around the map. Freddy, Bonny, Chica, or Foxy. After injecting remnant into each one, he can switch between them, however Springtrap is vulnerable while he controls his animatronics. If a survivor gets close enough to Springtrap while he is controlling other animatronics, they can sabotage him, stunning him and all of his animatronics for a decent amount of time. The animatronics break pallets faster, vault windows faster, and break walls faster, however they cannot pick up survivors. Each animatronic has a power, Freddy having the doctors basic shock, Bonnie having ghostface’s night shroud, chica having demogorgons shred, and foxy having Billy’s sprint.
The perks are assuming they are yellow perks.
Perks:
I Always Come Back:
After being pallet stunned 3 times, you immediately gain one tier of bloodlust.
Put You Back Together:
After you hook the obsession, all other survivors suffer from the exposed status effect until the obsession is rescued. If you are within a 16 meter radius of the hooked obsession, the perk temporarily deactivates.
Hex: Fun and faith:
When a survivor is working on a generator, cleansing a totem, opening a chest, unhooking a survivor, healing a survivor, opening the exit gate, or is on the hook, they suffer from the oblivious status effect.
Edit: I think some rearranged version of The Toreador’s March (Freddy’s lullaby) could make rlly good terror radius and chase music!

can i propose 2 possible powers?
1. Fazbear Frights: a power that can be used once every 30 seconds, it allows the Attraction to let out a frightful shriek that will stun every survivor that is in a certain radius in front of him
2. Night Shift: this power would be unique since this kind of mechanic has never been used, the completion of generator now corrisponds to the passing of hours (1 gen- 1 hour) starting from 0:00 to 5:00 AM. The Attraction would be given a small buff for every hour that passed

@@MissYamIherexxx Scott has written and sketched the design of Charlotte Emily. A character from the novel series. He can just do the same here. Think of a design for Mike in his head, draw it or write down any notable characteristics(Night-guard attire or even his zombie form) hand it over to BHVR so they can model it, and they're set to go. But its completely up to him if he wants to do that or if he wants to keep him a mystery. (Even though the character has been missing in action for almost 4 years.)

Honestly the Fnaf chapter is my #1 most wanted chapter right next to Resident Evil and we are getting that! So now Fnaf is my most wanted chapter, I don’t care what anyone said about Fnaf appealing to children more, as someone who has play all the Fnaf games the Fnaf killer would bring a unique play style to DBD and the Fnaf chapter would amazing for DBD 6th anniversary next year
Also the people saying it appeals more to children, and the 7 year olds who love the games, don't know about the lore. My dads who don't like FNaF were really surprised to find out about the child murders for example. I was telling them about the lore and they had genuinly never heard it before and only knew about the Bite of 87 in regards to lore (which I'm not sure if it was retconned into the Bite of 83 or they both happened tbh)
As a major fnaf fan Sarah Robinson saying friday night at freddys is hilarious. But she was really quick to answering that question and that really makes me happy that she wants it in the game as bad as we do lol.

Scott Cawthon developed and published FNAF 1 through Ultimate Custom Night all by himself. It was only in 2019 when he let Steel Wool Studios develop and Lionsgate Games publish FNAF Help Wanted. That's why Dawko was talking about Scott opening up to other companies...

actually, he started sharing the franchise in 2019. Before then, Scott made and published the games all by himself, and it wasn't until after he finished the original story was he willing to let other companies start to work with it, which is how was recruited Steele Wool recruited and made FNAF: Help Wanted and Security Breach.
I definitely think a Fnaf chapter will be more possible after the movie. There are no human models for characters besides any in Security Breach. Also some corrections, between fnaf 4 and sister location there was fnaf world, but that is technically listed as a spin off so I'm assuming that you left it out unintentionally, along with Freddy in space, which was a charity game (and also Fury's rage, a game Scott made in response to security breach being delayed). Scott Cawthon was independent for the first 4 games and didn't work with Steel wool until help wanted and security breach. But thank you for being accurate and respectful, and using pictures of models that look accurate.
Things have changed and I think now it’s more likely then ever to happen... maybe... Since all the drama that has happened with Scott and him now leaving the development of FNAF this crossover is more likely to happen depending who takes over for Scott.

The odds of a fnaf chapter coming to DBD this year is actually surprisingly high. We know behavior plans everything a year in advance and the springtrap hype really hit its peak in July-September so seeing a fnaf chapter in September is pretty likely, and since fnaf is turning 7 years old in august we could potentially see a reveal if a fnaf chapter was in the works.
Don't forget about Security Breach coming out soon. Good way to promote the game.

I respect the decision to keep FNAF as it’s own thing, separate from everything else, but at the same time I really think it would do a lot of good for both games if Scott chose to let Behaviour add a FNAF chapter, it would give much more attention to both FNAF and DBD

@@atmodlee ok so: Xenomorph is owned by Disney so good luck with that, Jason is basically the child in a custody battle, Chucky is owned by multiple studios just like Candyman, Pinhead too and is also going to join Jason in his hell on december 14th (so if they add him they must make a deal before that date), Pennywise like Xenomorph but instead of Disney is Stephen King, Springtrap is probably the easiest to get

I'd love for this liscence to be in DbD simply because there is so much they can use to make a completely unique killer. Nemesis is cool, balanced and fun but he feels the most derivative. With FNAF you could implement cameras, vents powers and even other animatronics thanks to the new AI. If he were to be added I'd like to see a combination of all the suggestions to create a killer that plays super strategically to avoid chases.
Yes, but the animatronics possessed by the children probably aren't confusing us with William because we aren't Michael so they wouldn't attack is, probably.
But also venting and using cameras would be so cool
@@forgottenvale667 they can use phantoms, like this new perk on survivor allows it to put a bomb (or something similar) to the generator to blind the killer, so my take would be, when a skill check about to appear, survivor would receive a jumspcare from a phantom animtronic (Or If they keep doing gen taps too much)
I respect the hell out of Scott, and the direction fnaf has gone individually, but I think he should start to take some chances and Colab more so the concept of just fnaf doesn’t get boring, not saying it will just in case. You have to make some changes somewhere alone the line.

taking all of the information about fnaf/scott I know, and the information you gave here, here's what I think...
-some people speculate that a Candyman chapter has been in the works for a while, but is being postponed due to the Candyman movie's postponement. I think it's interesting that Cawthon specifically said "this year", when saying there are no crossovers...
-due to the postponement of Security Breach, maybe a similar thing is going on. remember, behavior said no more paragraph chapters, meaning we at least get a killer and a survivor for every chapter here on out. we're yet to see a human character in fnaf, but that will change with security breach. additionally, the FNaF movie comes out next year, which is live action to my knowledge. the perfect opportunity to release a chapter of FNaF; just in time to promote the movie.
I honestly do believe that the devs for DBD have been in talks about FNaF for a while. given that Scott is an independent developer, and not a huge company like other license holders, he'd be great to collaborate with, and really, i'm sure when scott's ready, we'll see a FNaF chapter, especially since he knows the fans have wanted it for a while.
hell odds are it will convince people who dont find fnaf interesting to look into fnaf too lol
About the movie: it's all made with actors and real animatronics, with the only exception of some scenes in which CG is used
@@fluffybum204 yeah! and I think Security Breach will do that too, since it seems it will be more on par with other horror games, like Resident Evil. we already know that it has a higher Pegi rating than any other fnaf game (16+) so it could be a bit intense. I guess we will just have to wait and see

By the way, as some others pointed out, I think Scott might just be pulling a classic Scott and he and BHVR might be secretly in the background works. Especially because of two reasons. The first is being the obvious reference to Springtrap in the tomes with the whole "Spring the Trap" challenge and well, Scott has already went back on his word about "no collabs this year" with Dawko having a crossover with FNAF with his new brand, that being Hex.

049 goes into a trance like state to “cure the pestilence” walking faster than most killers and almost faster than survivors
Perks:
Perk 1 infection has a small chance of giving a survivor temporary bleeding effects
Perk 2 anomaly
Survivors will have a chance of being dizzy after coming into contact with the anomaly
Perk 3 restless
049 wants to cure the survivors so badly that he has a chance of getting a speed boost when chasing
Side features 049 can vault windows and can reset pallets
Keep in mind we'll likely have an ideal survivor WITH a face by Year 6.
The FNaF movie is currently in production with Blumhouse, and features Mike as its primary protagonist. (The protagonist from the original game, and the son of the serial killer who became Springtrap)
They can just use the actor's likeness or do something similar to Laurie, Quentin, or Tapp (Hopefully not goblin style.)
On another note, I'd very much want Charlie from the books as a legendary for any of the survivors.
It'd just be cool since I imagine Springtrap and Michael would be based on their movie counterparts.
Depending on how similar to the original games the movie feels-- it might be a good idea to toss an ensured nostalgia bone to the old fans.
You never know how well a movie adaptation will go, and as much as I trust Blumhouse it's always a concern with these things.
I feel like a Marionette survivor or... wait for it, Happy Frog survior would be fun. Considering like half of the human characters are dead and possessing animatronics, a non-human survivir would be interesring.
I wouldn't be that afraid for the FNaF movie, Scott's working closely with the makers, and he scrapped multiple scripts before the one he's using as of now

recently, after some people on twitter figured out scott was a conservative, shortly after they doxxed him. This made him announce his retirement because of all of the death threats being sent towards him and his family. We may not get Security Breach, and i highly doubt we will get any DbD collab. this pains me to talk about as scott is one of my favorite creators, but this is the truth.
He will continue to work on security breach and the movie after that he will give the series to someone trustworthy,and I'm pretty sure he will still help with the games story just not its production

Okay let's just say this firstly. Scott clearly doesn't want really want big collabs with really any games. At least not now. If we were going to get it, it would after fnaf's last game. And that's not happening for awhile. Dbd and it's community does want it to happen. That part is very clear, so in the end if Scott does it a lot of people will like it more people would know fnaf and it's series. But again it seems as if it'll only happen when Scott wants to but mainly because the games are already doing good. He cares a lot about his community and work but he just has bigger plans to take his series in the direction he wants to. If does happen I'm happy if doesn't well that's fine. I'll be happy with the next collab.

0:34 that killer concept sounds so convoluted and dumb. It sounds either super busted because for some reason dbd players don't understand how timers work. Having a 30 second instakill wandering around with no terror radius is stupid. Plus the first perk is just spirit fury with a cooldown. Also low blow but. He spelled weak wrong in the 3rd perk.
To me springtrap or ennard would fit best. There both main characters technically. Springtrap being the killer behind almost all the story line murders and ennard being part of baby and also making Michael immortal.

Don't worry, many people know fnaf world is awesome. It was just really buggy when it first released, and he may have intentionally left it out because it's listed as a spinoff.

Do we HAVE to use characters from the horror genre? I don't know if you've gotten this one, but I've always wanted something from The Running Man. A 1987 film featuring Arnold Swarzenegger. His character, Ben Richards, is thrown into a gameshow arena to survive professional killers. Lots of killers from that movie - Fireball, Buzzsaw, Dynamo, and Subzero. And of course, Ben Richards, as a survivor. I've been playing DBD since the earliest days and it's always reminded me of The Running Man.
I mean.... it's a horror game considered to be the "Hall of fame of horror"

I think the negative stigma with Fnaf is because its a very PG 13 kinda horror. I think Fnaf Is a great entry to horror for people and I think that's important.
