I noticed smalps' post too, but thank you for the work you put in on it. ✌️🙌 Curious did you compile the exp from play counting for each monster or was all the exp numbers already established? Because that would seem like alot to go around and counting/listing each type of variation, In each act. 😂😂😂 Just curious. Also understandable one can't really predict a "MPM - monsters per minute", because each map's density varies.. but knowing where to max gain is definitely a good thing to have handy.. Sometimes though it isn't about experience.. example, if I do a Diablo/chaos run, and a ravenfrost drops.. I'll go and clear more bosses/maps, to try and force an SoJ drop, because the raven is already taken out of the drops equation.. 🤷 People do play differently, based on what their goals in the game are.. but 95-99 level grinding just takes soooo long, but glad they added exp % items... Good lucks on drops, folks. 13:03 oh wow that's a spreadsheet alright.. 😂😂😂😂😂
17:50 there is an argument for doing world stone keeps from 2 to 3 and then throne room just so you have a bigger kill count on uniques/champs with extra loot and your sanity less damaged (because of years and years of farming the very same place). I'd honestly always do WSK before going to the throne, it's not always about 100% optimization, the game must be fun first, well, unless your meaning of fun is 100% optimization :D
Fair point. I like how you considered different "fun" for different folks. Diablo 2 is one of those games where you don't have to farm XP until you are at a spot to farm high level uniques and/or high runes. I rush through all of normal and 95% of nightmare. Hell is when this game actually begins to me. I only farm a little bit towards the end of nightmare for prerequisites for hell, like resistance. It's digital gambling but there's fun for all some way in diablo 2
Funny how i just started asking myself the question about how to level efficiently as i just beat the Ancients on Hell difficulty and about to finish the game for the first time. Can't wait for Hell TZs.
With the introduction of Terror zones there is no other way to level up faster.. Just do the zones you like, the easier the better. If you don't like a particular zone just do some MF runs while you wait for another. If you playing Single player, don't jump straight into players 8 mode if you struggle to clear. The faster you clear the better. Always choose a character that fits a terror zone the best. Spend more time in Nightmare and get your levels before Hell, you can level up to 80 before you go hell. Always prepare gear for your alt characters so you make it easier to level up on a higher group setup.
There was a EXP leveling graphic floating around with cLvL across the top and then rows of percentages for each act. It seemed to imply that based on your level you get more of the allotted experience for certain acts vs. others. For instances it says at lvl 88 you'd get 95% in Act 4 Hell and only 78% in Act 5 Hell. Totally possible I've been interpreting it wrong the whole time. However, Pavke's awesome spreadsheet suggests that running Baal is always the best exp maneuver. In4 enlightenment...
Hi guys! Pavke here! Thank you Llama for the shoutout!! Much love to the community!

When a character hits 99, do they no longer detract XP from the group they’re in?

what if I still party with anyone but farm solo in WSK lvl1 when it is TZ, does it count that Party Size = 1?
Is there a way to show Baal wave 2 unparty trick visually with this, or was that just a bug
the Exp overflow was fixed in D2R so you dont have to unparty anymore
Its weird that leveling in a 8 player game but no in a party is the highest amount
You keep the exp to yourself. What's weird about that
One hundred and thirty fifth.
One hundred and thirty fourth
