The damage of the box looks a little bit like, that someone had plans to steal what's inside, but didn't do it, because it's such a nice model boat. You're lucky, that the model is fine.
I ran a single 6s pack in mine, it worked pretty good. This boat has big power on 6s and it is the same setup thats in the Blackjack so it can handle 8s.
Esc can handle 8s but motor does get warm on 8s and they set the Kv on this for 6s and it fast!Easy 65-70mph with 2(5000mah)100c Spektrum smart battery’s and gives you the battery reading on remote👍Hell of a boat for the money!Toughest hull from them yet,and is as thick as my MG36.
Had all 3 they make and the only one I liked was the spartan.Like all of these they all have issues needed to be resolved.I had issues with the remotes on my traxxas losing connection and did away with them!
Fiberglass hull on this is way better and the only thing it needs is a better rudder and tuned to get 70mph🤔Dam good boat.Flipped it several times at high speed and hit and fish or turtle hard enough to bend a turn fin with no other damages👍

Getting used to the Impulse 32 is a job,and you will love the boat!Super fast and runs perfect on 6s,gotta be fine tuned for 8s.Motor is a 2000kv

Unfortunately not but still worth every penny in quality and electronics❤️👍
Mr Mad just got 76mph out of his with a different prop and I have gotten 59mph stock so far
What motor is in it? website says 4685 4 pole 2000kv, but another unboxing video said it was a 3682????
